A step forward for elephant welfare. Effective 1 January 2026, Bali Zoo has discontinued elephant riding. This decision supports our ongoing commitment to animal welfare, giving our elephants more time for natural behaviours, social interaction, and enrichment. Thank you for respecting this update. by @balizoo
No tricks, just treats! 🎃🥕 Even our zebras can’t resist a little carrot bribery during their routine weigh-ins! 🦓⚖️ Happy Halloween from Bali Zoo! 👻 #BaliZoo #LoveConserveShare #Bali #Zebra #Zoo by @balizoo
While Boris may be celebrating International Gibbon Day out in the wild, let’s take a look at his siblings Cincin and Dahlia who are keeping things wild in their own way! (With the help of our #Zookeeper Heros ofc🙂‍↕️) With fun enrichment activities that keep their minds sharp, bodies active, and natural instincts thriving, these two are making playtime a little extra exciting! Different ways to celebrate, same wild spirit! 💚 Happy International Gibbon Day! #Gibbon #BaliZoo #SilveryGibbon #LoveConserveShare by @balizoo
