Meet Reggie Moore, one of the dedicated frontline workers helping keep Baltimore City moving. Reggie took us inside the Charles Benton Building for a behind-the-scenes look at the facility and the many City agencies that call it home. From Finance and Planning to Health, Housing, Transportation, General Services and more, the Benton Building plays an important role in serving Baltimore City. Join us each Friday as we shine a light on the people who keep our City running—our frontline workers. #WeAreDGS . . . . #FrontlineFridays #BaltimoreDGS #BehindTheScenes #Facilities by @baltimoredgs
A new chapter begins in the Park Heights community with the groundbreaking of a new library! This space, projected to be completed in September 2027, will become a hub for learning, connection, and community growth for Park Heights residents who have been without a branch since 2001. This is more than just a building— it’s an investment in stories, dreams, and opportunities for generations to come! @mayorbmscott @sharongreenmiddleton @recandparks @prattlibrary @phrenaissance . . . #wearedgs #groundbreaking #ceremony #parkheights #baltimorecity #prattlibrary by @baltimoredgs
Stepping through the doors as a Hire Up intern and now thriving as a full-time team member, Ashley Pryor’s journey is a testament to hard work and opportunity💪! Hire Up (@jobsbaltimore) is a transitional jobs program for unemployed or underemployed Baltimore City residents, offering up to 6 months of full-time work experience at a city agency, business, or organization, with efforts to help participants secure permanent employment. Ashley made that leap here in the DGS Fleet Division, transitioning from temp to full-time, and today she’s been a dedicated and valued employee for over a year and a half! We’re happy to have Ashley here in our Fleet Division and hope to welcome more young trailblazers like her in the Baltimore City community in the future🌟. . . . #HireUp #WeAreDGS #CareerGrowth #HireUpSuccess #BaltimoreCity #Fleet by @baltimoredgs
