Just about everyday I follow the same routine. What’s your pre-run routine like? by @bandana_runner2

My injuries have kept me off the road for a while, although I am getting back I can’t quite do those long runs, but that doesn’t mean I stop my progress and neither should you.

When running isn’t possible, you adapt. You hit the gym, focus on strength, work on mobility, and keep showing up. Different path, same goal.

Fitness isn’t just about miles logged — it’s about resilience, discipline, and staying motivated even when things don’t go according to plan.

Some days are harder than others, and the road is long, but keep your head up. Recovery is part of the journey, not the end of it. Stronger days are ahead. 💪🏽🏃‍♂️

With only one month left until the @breakneck_point I would say the training and PT are going well since my Dec 2023 meniscus tear. It’s been a long road and not out of the woods yet, but things are looking up. Thanks to the support of my family and friends in conjunction with my hard work and amazing PT workouts provided by @runningtheextramiles_ this may be a successful race! #mountainrunner #mountainrunning #trailrunning #trailrunner #runner #garmin #leagueofgarmin #garminconnect #nakedrunningband #injinji #nuunambassador#snbt2025 #squirrelnutbutter by @bandana_runner2

2024 had been a rough year experiencing my first major injury, a torn meniscus. I opted to forgo surgery and work on PT and other holistic healing avenues. I just started a new training block for the 2025 @breakneck_point half marathon and things are looking up. I want to call out and thank @bonniewilder.dpt for working with me through this journey the last couple months, during which I’ve seen the most progress. First race in one year with a torn meniscus. It was great to get out there and run fast. My slowest time in the last three years but still competitive. Official 38:41. Great seeing some folks from #edrrc at the #petesanfilippo43rdholidayrun, kept warm with my #craftssportswear gloves and lubed up with #snb by @bandana_runner2

As my first year of being an ambassador for SNB comes to an end we’re offering some deep discounts to friends and family! Use code Timberfriends to get 30% off for all your chafing needs. by @bandana_runner2

My first exposure to almost 12,000 feet above sea level. This is no joke! Out here in Colorado for some epicness! #trailrunning #colorado by @bandana_runner2

It’s been a while since I’ve posted regarding my meniscus tear. Still trying to manage it naturally, I have good and bad days. I have kept up with my PT, easy running, and weight training but really miss the “real” running. That said, this time has allowed me to slow down; take a seat after a trail ascent, run while my kid bikes, take in the views while running on vacation, and volunteer at two races (#breakneckridge and #millbrookmarathon). I would have run this year (soaking up the joy of others’ running), and basking in others’ successes. I did however take part in a night trail race which I did pretty well considering. “Relentlessly moving forward” is a phrase I’ve come to adopt from others. Just waiting for the day I can run for hours on end again. #mountainrunner #mountainrunning #trailrunning #trailrunner #runner #brooksrunning #garmin #leagueofgarmin #garminconnect #nakedrunningband #injinji #nuunambassador and always staying lubed up with #squirrelsnutbutter by @bandana_runner2
