Welcome to Bandit! 🦝

We (@arthx_o & @liammmcmanus) have been collaborating on coaching for the past few months.

We are both driven to understand the data behind training and using it to make data driven decisions while understanding the non tangible aspects of coaching. We first met in Trinity Barbell in 2019, having coached the team informally.

We decided to make our collaboration more official as we want to continue developing and upskilling as coaches and bring our athletes a higher level of service.

@liammmcmanus - Having coached myself to a couple international caps and coaching informally for a couple years, my goal is to mix my experience with real training data to offer lifters an easy-to-follow plan as they progress through their journey in powerlifting.

@arthx_o - I have had the pleasure of handling internationally for GB equipped teams at worlds, euros and WEC and at national level for classic in both Ireland and GB. My short term goal as a coach is to better understand dose response relationship following on from my TSG internship and get as many of my UK lifters to national level comps as possible. by @bandit.powerlifting

Definitely a learning experience for Nick and I but part of the game. We look forward to bringing consistency and repeatability to our next day out.

Josh Inman
Equipped European Championships 2025
(770, 7/9, +22.5kg)

This was Josh’s second full power equipped competition and first international competition. Josh had a turbulent and busy prep but pieced together an excellent performance.

Josh has a lot of potential in equipment and I can’t wait to see his next performance. There are definitely key takeaways and next steps for me to action.

Well done Josh!!

Noah Green
BUC 2025
(+7.5kg, 8/9)

This was Noah’s first National level competition and he did amazing after dealing with sickness resulting in missing over a weeks worth of training during his peak.

This was @swoletowngirl and my first collaboration on an athlete. We had some tough decisions to make during Noah’s peak but I believe we made the best possible calls.

Huge congratulations to @abdullah_sehaim for making his return to the platform since moving down under 🇦🇺 He came away with gold in his weight class despite a couple of hiccups on the day, finishing with a massive total and dots PB.

Massive thank you to @conor_kiernan562 for looking after our boy on the day, brilliant handler with loads of experience. We look forward to seeing Abdullah at APL Nationals very soon!

Jakub Stachyra

Massive thank you to @seppelifts for stepping in to handle in my absence. Attempt selection couldn’t have been better. Thank you!

Thank you to @wm_powerlifting for providing such a good platform for the lifters.

Nick Towson
English bench 2025
162.5kg

Nick did well to come back from a warmup mishap and keep his cool. This is far from Nicks best but he handles the moment well. He’ll be back for Equipped Bench Worlds 🤝 Well done Nick! by @bandit.powerlifting

Josh Inman 🥇
English Bench 2025
207.5kg (+12.5kg, 3/3)

This was our first competition together and Josh smashed it. Josh made his technique undeniable and added 12.5kg to his best since January. Well done Josh!

Thank you so much to all that helped and those involved in @englishbench2025. This comp was exceptionally well ran and volunteers were looked after incredibly well. by @bandit.powerlifting

Aaron Chacko (@chacko_lifts)
Junior Nationals 2025
(+25kg)
8/9
(missed down command on deadlift opener)

Aaron put up an excellent performance at his first junior nationals and I was delighted to see him back on platform. He executed perfectly after a 4.5% BW cut.

Thank you to @jaynekate_ for cutting Aaron in. Jayne is exceptional when it comes to weight cuts and I couldn’t recommend her services more highly.

Massive Thank you to @kibria.ali1 for stepping in to handle, unfortunately I couldn’t attend due to membership issues. Kibria called attempt perfect and put Aaron in a great position to execute.

Lastly @liammmcmanus who co-coaches Aaron with me 🤝

Thank you to everyone who volunteered and made this comp happen
