Brass & Drums ALL DAY
POSTS STORIES REELS
Bang Bang Experience is a brass and drums ensemble that plays the music of trumpet player @samdechenne Inspired by the sounds of international brass bands, Funk and Reggae horn sections, West African and Latin American drumming, and Western chamber music, their sound is truly their own. The rhythm section interweaves grooves and swap roles throughout the performance for a visual and audible experience @tysondrums on drumset @mimydesigns on cajon/timbales/surdo & @skotdrumz on congas/mixed percussion @jaysiproof & @tbonemolitor (trombones) @chris.shuttleworth (tuba) make up the lower brass section. They play the bass role, rhythmic comping, inner harmonies, and melodies. Riding the musical wave on top is Sam on trumpet, the main melody and voice of the band. With Bang Bang, you’ll hear melodic and fiery solos from every member of the band, soft and intimate three-part horn section compositions, exciting rhythm breaks, catchy melodies, and horn riffs that will keep your ears open and your toes tapping. 📷 @88.8_films (yeah, Jordan!) #explore #connect #experience #travel #influence #pdx #brassband #bangbang #ifyouknowyouknow #bangbangexperience #portland #portlandia #livemusic #pressplay by @bangbangexperience
