Saturday, October 31st… our biggest event of the year returns to Barbell 88! 🎃🔥

The Barbell 88 & UpLifting Heroes Annual Truck Pull is coming back baby!!! and this year, we’re taking over Halloween!

More than 2,000 people have joined us in previous years, and for Year 6, we’re raising the bar again!

Been thinking a lot lately about how fucking lucky I am to get to do this for a living.
These are just some random pictures and videos from classes and clients this week, but looking through them made me pretty damn grateful.
People show up here after long days at work, before work, tired, stressed, dealing with shit I probably don’t even know about… and they’re still willing to come through the door and put the work in.
I get a front row seat to watch people get stronger, healthier and more confident and do things they didn’t think they could do. To me, that’s pretty fucking cool.

So to everybody who trains with me or has trusted me to be even a small part of their journey, THANK YOU!

I know you guys pay me to coach you 😂 but I hope you know how much you guys have given me in return.

I fucking love what I do and I don’t take any of you for granted.

Hard to believe we’re already 8 weeks into The Standard Project.
When I first came up with the idea for this I really didn’t know exactly what it was going to turn into. I knew what I wanted out of it and I knew I wanted it to be about a lot more than just working out and losing weight, but actually watching it come together over these last 8 weeks has been pretty fucking awesome.

I’m seriously so proud of these guys. Obviously I’ve seen physical changes. Guys are losing weight, getting stronger, moving better and doing things they couldn’t do when we started. But honestly that’s probably not even the part I’m most proud of.

It’s watching their habits change. Watching guys show up for each other. Seeing them train together outside of our sessions, check in on each other, talk about shit they probably wouldn’t normally talk about.

We still have 4 weeks left and we’re definitely not done yet but this first group has already shown me that I want to keep building this.

So with that being said… there WILL be another Standard Project group.
I’m thinking we kick the next one off the Monday after Thanksgiving.

I love the idea of starting then because everyone always waits until January 1st to decide they’re going to change their life. Why wait? We can spend December putting the work in and go into the new year already with a ton of momentum behind us.

I’m not opening applications yet. I just wanted to put it out there because I’ve had people asking me if I’m going to run it again.
If you’ve been following along and watching what we’re doing and you’ve thought to yourself that maybe this is something you need in your life, just shoot me a message. We can talk about it.
For now though, my focus is on finishing these last 4 weeks with the boys and finishing this thing the same way we started it.
