APA MEGA NATIONALS 2026 Squat: 167.5 kg ( + 5 kg comp PR) ( SIX SEVUNNN) Bench: 117.5 kg ( + 5 kg comp PR) Deadlift: 220 kg ( + 2.5 kg ATPR ) TOTAL: 505 kg @ 65.55 kg bw ( +12.5 kg ) 8th in 🇦🇺 (U66 kg JRs ) Funmaxxxxxeddd our first Nats while hitting comp PRs in all 3 lifts and the total. Even two failed lifts couldn’t stop me from enjoying the moment 🤣 🤣 Most grateful to my coach @barbell_kay who helped me bring my personal best performance through prep/ comp and most importantly for building me up from scratch as a powerlifter. From our original goals of getting “knockout ready abs” (OCT 2024) to our first novice comp(June 2025) and now our first Nationals 🫡 @brendanwongfit with mates like you, who truly needs enemies 🤪🥴 🤣 jokes aside, your guidance on nutrition whilst strict, helped me get the most out of every training session and kept me on track with my recovery. @atlas.sportsmassagetherapy , I’ll out total you next comp I swear 😭 but fr bro, you helped me with every ache and pain that came up during comp prep and I cannot thank you enough for how safe I felt knowing if I ever got hit by a truck, your practice is just up the stairs at xgym 😭 @xgym_castlehill yall mog me so hard on a daily basis that i am always motivated and excited to train ( i lied i hate squat days, Shi should get banned ) but frfr couldn’t ask for a better community to be around after losing the light of my soul during my 9-5 🤩 @australianpowerliftingalliance i truly appreciate everyone for all the effort that went into making the competition run as smoothly as possible. 📸 Footage by @thirds.co 🧠 🖥️ edit by @drhuv.m And thank you to my personal cheerleading squad for making me feel like prime Gary Oak @elijahjshin @jjoshtang @joshtangendjaja @tim_bees @ethqn.w @1yne77enh4n @katherinaa_le @caitlinckm @bnlay_ @min.mpiv #powerlifting #gym #sydney #twice #kpop by @barbell_kay

XGYM Break All Limits VII Squat: 150/ 160x / 162.5 Bench: 105 / 112.5 / 117.5x Deadlift: 190/ 205 / 217.5 Total: 492.5 kg @ 65.8 kg bodyweight This was my first sanctioned comp and wow I really got humbled 🤣, did not have the perfect day we wanted ( missed depth on second squat and got folded on third bench ) but we managed to still have an overall better meet than the novice 4 months ago. Even though I fell short of totalling 500, we still got higher than the QT which was a goal so a W is a W 🤷🏽‍♂️ We gave it our best and as cliche as it sounds, we proud but not satisfied. First and foremost gotta thank the coach himself @barbell_kay , bro has not only made me physically stronger but has also helped me get mentally stronger as a person. He believed in me more than I believe in myself and I can’t wait to see how far he takes me as a powerlifter. Another shoutout to @atlas.sportsmassagetherapy , akki bhai has always been there to help me stay physically healthy. Any sort of pain or ache gets sorted by this man and I can’t imagine having anyone else help me 🙏🏽 Thank you to @xgym_castlehill for not only hosting the comp, but being one of the best training environments I could ask for. Everyone at the gym from makes training such a joy and I cannot imagine training anywhere else. Footage is from @thirds.co , thank you very much for capturing each moment 🫰🏽 Hopefully we finally hit our 3rd bench in comp and crack 500+ next meet ( otherwise I’m retiring 😭) by @barbell_kay

First states comp! A much delayed post haha. 80x 84 88 102 108x 112x 190 total u88 u23 Super glad that I pushed through the 3 back to back comp training blocks to make it to states! Huge thanks to @barbell_kay for coaching me through the process and dealing with my dilly dally and shenanigans 🤣. Unfortunately, I missed out on a 200kg total due to blunders on the clean. The lifts that day were still very promising, and I am so keen to see what Kay and I can make happen next season!!! Thank you @blacktigerbarbell @martinkhaitran for making competing at fun experience!!! Thank you @bencamua @zamandakwan @raymond.che @joshua.lin48 for coming out and spectating!!! Thank you to my family at @xgym_castlehill Thank you @atlas.sportsmassagetherapy for all the advice and spells you had casted on my shoulder 🤣 Thank you @stevesendingit for the film and letting me compete under HOC by @barbell_kay
Platform debut for @davin.wl - 78 / 98 T: 176 @85.75 🥉3rd Place U88 - Big externals in the lead up meant a very disrupted prep but Davin didn't let that stop him from having a dig at his first comp. Unfortunatly we came just short of the states QT but despite his training age he knew straight away what needs to be worked on to improve his comp performance. Very proud of Davin and his efforts both in training and on the day. Ty to @blacktigerbarbell for the assist on the day. 5 weeks till we run it back for another shot at the states QT. by @barbell_kay

Struggling to stay consistent with rehab exercises? Instead of setting aside extra time, integrate it into your accessory movements. ▪️ Include exercises that will help you reach positions you struggle with in main lifts. ▪️ If you’re stuck in extension bias, focus on rib compression to improve control and movement quality. ▪️ Movements like Zercher squats or split squats naturally reinforce better positioning—without adding extra work to your sessions. Watch as Coach Kay @barbell_kay breaks it down. #BreakAllLimits by @barbell_kay
