Just got home after a week in Massena for the MLF Toyota Series on the St. Lawrence. This one was way different than I expected. With the dam closed, fishing above it was a totally different fishery. It took me a few days, but I figured some things out and had practice days that showed I could be right there on the weight. On tournament days though, I just didn’t capitalize enough. That’s on me. Every event teaches me something, and this one definitely made me a better angler. Huge thanks to my family and friends for all the support. They’re the ones who keep me going. Head up, eyes forward. Next stop, Bassmaster Opens on Erie in Buffalo. by @bardia_kml
Back home after 10 days in Kingston for the CISA Kingston Open. What a week, fishing against some of Canada’s best smallmouth anglers on the world class St. Lawrence and Lake Ontario. My first time competing on Lake Ontario and man… this place is special. We brought in 72.78 lbs over 3 days and finished 14th, good enough to grab a cheque and cover some costs. Huge thanks to @fishontariobass , @moosebr2 , and the whole @cisa_fishing crew for an incredible event, can’t wait to be back next year. Shoutout to my partner @sdfishinn for being a killer teammate and angler. Long hours of practice, endless graphing, and some brutal waves, but the electronics worked flawlessly. Shoutout to @purepowermarine for keeping everything dialed and secured. by @bardia_kml
If you caught the live, you saw it. Championship Sunday started exactly how we wanted, and then around noon, our engine quit. Still figuring out exactly what happened, but unfortunately, it was out of our control. Huge thanks to @cisa_fishing , @dusandragovicfishing , @moosebr2 , and the entire crew for taking care of us and handling everything like true pros. First class event from start to finish. And Peter… one of my biggest mentors in the sport. An absolute honour to share the boat with you. After the engine died, he stayed behind and trolled for nearly 4½ hours back to the ramp. Couldn’t ask for a better friend and teammate. And to my family and friends, thank you for always having my back. Not the ending we wanted. We’ll be back stronger. by @bardia_kml
jumped into the @north_gta_bass_anglers Couchiching event today and brought in 22.7, which was enough to get the job done. Pumped to get on road and head to Tennessee in the morning and get practice started on Lake Pickwick for the MLF Toyota Series Championship. Let’s get to work! by @bardia_kml
Pumped for the 2026 MLF Toyota Series Championship on Pickwick Lake, November 5–7. 😤 by @bardia_kml
TB to the @cisa_fishing Open in Kingston, We had a great time fishing this event and really enjoyed everything CISA put together. Huge credit to the team for running such a great tournament, and I hope to see it continue to grow and expand year after year! by @bardia_kml
Dropped 20lbs 14oz on the scale after one of the toughest practices I’ve had. Ran the Nitro Z21 with that Mercury 250 over 150+ miles of rough water — thankful everything stayed solid thanks to the clean rig job from @purepowermarine . Lost three 5+ pounders that could’ve been a game changer. I’m locking in and going all out for redemption. Let’s get it. #bassmaster #bassmasteropens #xtrememarine #gloomis #shimano #nitro #rahfish by @bardia_kml
Dalton and I battled against some of the best smallmouth anglers in the world on arguably the best smallmouth fishery in the world, finishing 2nd. 2nd is always a little bittersweet, but we’ll take it,especially against a field full of hammers. Even better, we qualified for the MLF Championship at Pickwick Lake this November, fishing for $235,000! 🫨 Grateful to do what I love and for everyone who continues to support me along the way. by @bardia_kml
The more I fish the St. Lawrence, the more I realize how special this place is. Had a great time practicing for the @fishcsfl River only 1000 Islands Cup. Day 1 starts tomorrow, and with other tournaments on the river, it’s gonna be a busy one. Now it’s time to put the pieces together and find five of the right ones. None of this would be possible without the people who support me and always have my back. 🫶🏾 Big shout out to @purepowermarine for lending the Nitro. It’s an absolute machine and handled the St. Lawrence beautifully. On the side note this Nitro is also for sale. If you’re in the market for a loaded boat, send me a message for more info.” by @bardia_kml
Had a fun day & brought 26.80 to the scales. We are currently siting in 3 with a pound off the leader, The @purepowermarine Nitro ran like a machine, and the @buzzerrocks products helped keep our fish super healthy in the livewell. Tomorrow we’re heading back out, looking to bring a big bag. If we want the W, we’ve gotta do better than today. One more day. Let’s get it🤙🏾 by @bardia_kml
Practice for @cisa_fishing 2026 is officially OVER. Tomorrow is registration & friday is Day 1 Practice wasn’t easy with these fish getting hammered, especially after the Elite Series, but I still found a few right ones to lean on come game day. The amount of big fish here is honestly incredible! 🔥 Unstable weather and waves of all sizes, but thanks to @purepowermarine , the boat and graphs stayed locked in and performed perfectly. Les get it! by @bardia_kml
And that’s a wrap for the 2024 @gbayteamseries . After making it to the Classic and practicing for it, Dalton and I were excited to compete for the $10K prize. But unfortunately, with the consecutive warm weather, our fish moved significantly. Day 1 proved challenging, and we only managed to bring in 21.87 pounds, placing us 4th after the first day. Knowing we needed a big bag for Day 2, we put our heads down, made significant changes and brought in 25.09lbs💪🏾 which was enough to secure 3rd🥉. Congrats to @matpjholland and @joemuszynski on a well deserved first place. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 On a side note, we had a blast fishing this series and want to give a huge shoutout to @tim_hine and the entire Rah Fish crew for running an amazing event. Thank you! 🙏🏾 Also, a big thank you to my family for always supporting me, even though I’m often away. 😉 by @bardia_kml
