Moral of the story ⬇️

Never let a person get comfortable with mistreating you.

What you tolerate today will be the same things that imprisons you tomorrow. 💯

Stand up for yourself now to avoid feeling trapped by toxic patterns later on.

You deserve respect and kindness in all your relationships. ❤️

You must realize your worth, because your worth is non-negotiable, and setting boundaries is an act of self-respect that paves the way for a brighter future. 🙌

If someone hasn’t explored certain aspects of themselves, they may struggle to comprehend or connect with others who have explored those depths. This shows you the importance of self-awareness, and self-growth. 📈

Increasing self-awareness involves a conscious effort to understand your thoughts, actions, & emotional patterns.

Here are some ways to enhance self-awareness:

1. Mindfulness Meditation: 🧘‍♂️

Practice being present in the moment, observing your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

2. Journaling: 📝

Regularly write down your thoughts, and experiences to gain insights into your patterns and triggers.

Reflect on Values: Write down your core values and whether your actions align with them

3. Feedback: 🗣️

Seek input from trusted friends, family, or mentors to understand how others perceive you.

Don’t be scared to take the risk; time goes by quicker than we know. ⏳

When you take risks, you learn that there will be times when you succeed,

and there will be times when you fail, and both are equally important. 👏

The opportunities we let pass today might never come again,

and we often regret the chances we didn’t take more than the ones we did. ✨

Life is too short to wonder ‘what if’ when we have the power to turn our dreams into reality. 🙌

You were born with two ears and ONE mouth for a reason! Observing more than speaking offers some real advantages. 👏

It helps you understand situations better and pick up on details others might miss. Plus, it’s a great way to learn from others’ experiences without making the same mistakes yourself. 💯

Being a good listener through observation also strengthens your connections with people. It sparks creativity and helps you grow personally by reflecting on your own actions and motivations. So, next time, try observing more and speaking less. 🙌

Let’s embrace the art of just observing and creating deep connection. Let’s seize every moment to enrich our connections. 🖤

If you’re more of a noticer than a talker, if you treasure meaningful connections over small talk, you’re right at home here.

In the busy rush of life, never forget to enjoy the simple things that make it worthwhile. 💙

✨Take a moment to pause and appreciate the little things

– a quiet morning, laughter with loved ones, or a beautiful sunset. These moments may seem small, but they’re what truly matter in the long run.

✨ Failure to pause and cherish life’s simple pleasures may lead to a realization one day:

amidst the pursuit of success, we may find ourselves wealthy in material possessions, but lacking in the currency of human connection and love.

The most beautiful moments often happen when we surrender control, and allow life to unfold organically. ❤️

Here are some helpful tips I’ve discovered for letting go of control. ⬇️

✨ Take Time to Breathe:

When things feel overwhelming, take a moment to just BREATHE! Deep breaths can help ground you in the present and ease the grip of control.

✨ Share the Load:

It’s okay to ask for help or delegate tasks when necessary. Letting others pitch in not only lightens your load, but it also strengthens bonds & shows you that you can trust in others abilities to get things done.

✨ Embrace the Chaos:

Life’s messy, and that’s okay! Embrace the imperfections and unexpected twists—they’re what make our journey uniquely ours. After all, striving for perfection in an imperfect world? That’s a road to nowhere.

✨ Find Your Focus:

Instead of obsessing over what you can’t control, channel your energy into what you can. Focus on your own actions, attitude, and responses, and let the rest unfold naturally.

Consider this analogy: 👇

imagine your heart as a jar filled with love, compassion, and care. Every time you extend these qualities to others, it’s like pouring them out of your jar. 🫙

Now if you neglect to replenish your own jar by nurturing yourself, eventually, it will run dry. You’ll realize you spent all that time working on everybody else, but then you’ll take a look in the mirror and realize you haven’t done anything for yourself… 🪞

You’ll find yourself depleted, with nothing left to sustain you. So, while it’s noble to give to others, don’t forget to also nurture yourself, otherwise you may find your own well-being empty when you need it most. 💆

3 self-care ideas ⬇️

These are things I’m still working on, but they have helped me tremendously!

Prioritize “me time”: Set aside dedicated time each day to focus solely on yourself, whether it’s through meditation, hobbies, reading, or simply relaxing & watching your favorite TV show. 📚

Practice self-compassion: Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding that you would offer to a friend. Be gentle & patient with yourself, especially during challenging times. 💯

Maintain boundaries: Learn to say no to activities or commitments that drain your energy or overwhelm you. Boundaries help protect your mental and emotional well-being. 👏

Let me explain ⬇️

1. Gratitude List📓

Research indicates that people who regularly practice gratitude look at life more positively + show fewer signs of depression. But the benefits of gratitude journalling take time- While results indicate a positive increase in mental health after 4 weeks of intentional gratitude. 📈

2. “Ta-Da” List 📝

A Ta-Da List, in contrast to a typical To-Do List, keeps track of everything you’ve already done to help shift your mindset around work.

To keep your own Ta-Da List, write down every task you complete (no matter how small!) on a piece of paper. You’ll end the day with a list of all you’ve accomplished! A “Ta-Da” List might be particularly useful if you’re feeling overwhelmed by your to-dos and need a little boost of encouragement/motivation.🫡

3. Brain Dump 🧠

A brain dump has the power to help pull you out of mental stress circles + leave you with a feeling of purpose + clarity. Set a timer (I recommend 10-15 min) and write a list of EVERYTHING that’s been weighing on your mind. From there, you’ll turn everything into a “to-do” or a “to-let-go-of,” and take action forward as needed. 🤍

4. What’s-Not-Working List ❌

Take some time to reflect on what isn’t working right now think: your communication patterns, your note-taking system, (your washing machine 😅). Where is there considerable friction in your day to day routine?

From this place of increased awareness, you can plan the steps to actually address these areas of your life and intentionally design new patterns of thought and action. 💭
