New at Barliner: Open Practice. 🟡

Your own training time, with a coach on the floor. Work on what you want: homework from your classes, a skill you’re building, extra practice on the basics. The coach walks around, gives tips and helps you pick the right progression. No set program, your own pace.

First session: tomorrow, Saturday 31 October.

Saturday at Barliner: Calisthenics Start at 13:30 for beginners, then Open Practice at 14:30 to practise what you learned.

Book with your membership, a 5 or 10 class pack, a single ticket (18 €) or your aggregator. First time at Barliner? Start with Calisthenics Start or a Basics Beginner class.

Your next step. One in every area. 🪜
Save it for your next session.

Swipe to see where the Start level begins: pull, push, core, handstand, wrists, shoulders, mobility, legs and the first big skill. Each with the whole path ahead.

Mobility, wrists, shoulders and legs don’t depend on how strong you are: everyone starts at step 1.

Not Start? Take the 1-minute test (3 numbers) and you get your own next step in every area, plus the Barliner Workout class to train it → link in bio by @barliner_workout

How many clean pull-ups can you do right now? Drop the number in the comments.

Level of the Week #1: START 🟢
No pull-up yet? Good. That’s where everyone begins.
Over the next weeks I’ll go through every level of the Barliner Workout scale, from Start to Advanced 2: what each level looks like, which class fits and what you need for the next step.

Start level? See you in the Beginner class. 👋 by @barliner_workout

Where are you on the ladder? 🪜
Start → Beginner → Intermediate 1 → Intermediate 2 → Advanced 1 → Advanced 2.
And above that: skills.
Dead hang, chin-over-bar hold, straight-bar dips, pull-ups, muscle-up, front lever, planche. One step at a time, clean reps only.
Find your level in 1 minute: 3 numbers, and you know which Barliner Workout class fits you → link in bio by @barliner_workout

Not fit enough to start? That’s exactly how everyone here started.

Your first session at BARLINER:
→ a coach who shows you every movement (more than once)
→ progressions for your level, from your first hang to your first muscle-up
→ a room full of people who cheer your reps instead of judging them

No experience needed. No equipment. Just show up.

Marathon week. Your legs get the rest. The rest of you doesn’t have to.

Sixteen weeks of miles leave their mark: tight hips, a stiff back, shoulders that still have 42K to carry.

This week, keep it easy: mobility for hips and spine, light upper-body and core work, nothing that tires your legs before race day.

Send this to someone who’s tapering. 🏃‍♂️

Pull. Transition. Lock out.

Coach Maxim — Advanced Calisthenics | Conditioning, every Friday 18:00 with @maximpruchnewski by @barliner_workout

That’s Coach George. Not a demo take — a working set.

Fatigue is where technique gets tested. The standard is to keep it clean.

That’s what Calisthenics | Conditioning | Advanced is built around: quality under fatigue. No ego reps.

If pull-ups feel stuck, it’s not always because you need to train harder.

Sometimes the next step is just not clear enough.

I keep seeing this in classes:

one person needs assistance,
another needs more control,
another needs better range,
another needs more volume.

Same goal.
Different progression.

This is for people working on their first clean pull-up — or already have a few reps, but still don’t feel strong, clean or consistent.

And for those who want to build better dips, more control and a stronger base for future skills.

Regular classes are great for consistency, variety and community.

This is something more focused:

a smaller fixed format,
max. 6 people,
75-minute sessions,
focused on pull-ups, dips and clean strength basics,
with personal corrections
and progress tracked over time.

Same Barliner approach.
More focus on one clear goal.

If this sounds like your current situation, send me “PULL-UP” and I’ll send you the details first. by @barliner_workout
