Integrity. Service. Excellence — Built to Last.
🏡 Timeless Custom Homes | Quality Materials | Enduring Craftsmanship

POSTS STORIES REELS

I’m a Greenville native who builds the kind of forever homes I’d want for my own family: Timeless design. Quality materials. Enduring craftsmanship.

If your days are packed, my job is to keep building simple. I set a clear project scope, line up an all-star team, and narrow decisions down to a short list with the tradeoffs explained. You get steady updates with photos, schedule checkpoints, and cost visibility from start to finish.

My focus is major renovations, additions, and high end design-builds in the $300k to $1M+ range. We honor a home’s history and setting in the Upstate while tailoring the build to your family’s unique needs.

BarnRaiser runs on the values of Integrity, Service, and Excellence. That means honest communication, respect for your time, and proven craftsmanship.

Planning a renovation or new build? DM WALKTHROUGH and I’ll send the project detail form to book an initial builder walkthrough. We’ll review goals, timeline, and budget to see if we’re a fit! by @barnraiserconstruction

The framing stage is magical. In a few short weeks, a bare foundation transforms to the trappings of a house you can physically walk through and envision. Plenty of phases to go before “Brookhaven” is a finished home, but what progress! by @barnraiserconstruction

Something beautiful about crisp oak-pegged joinery. Assembling sections on the ground before pulling them up the old fashioned way! by @barnraiserconstruction

Heart pine floors were the gold standard in turn-of-the-centuryGreenville homes but have largely been replaced by readily-available oak or other species. It took a while to find enough for this house but so pleased that this will be restored to its original beauty. by @barnraiserconstruction

Exciting progress on this historic restoration! Stay tuned for the final reveal this summer by @barnraiserconstruction

Saturdays are for sawdust! Milling custom trim to match the original from a 120+ year old house. Beautiful transition between Victorian and arts-and-crafts style. by @barnraiserconstruction

Classic details like carved rafter tails and traditional window grids make this new-build fit right in with the historic Pettigru neighborhood. Even when we aren’t working on an old home, we still think they feel more inviting! by @barnraiserconstruction

Treehouse in spring! Real wood beams are part of our signature style and this project is no exception. Just wait and see how they look with the underglow at night! by @barnraiserconstruction

Freezing temps coming to Greenville! The @aquorwatersystems hose bib protects our homes from frost by automatically draining all water from the external portion, so you don’t have to worry about dripping your lines this coming week. Getting details right is the key to true custom building, and on weeks like this the temperature is our main priority! by @barnraiserconstruction

Rooster weathervanes traditionally hail from medieval France and are most prominently featured on the restored cathedral of Notre Dame. This one may lack the religious relics of its original inspiration, but nevertheless is a beautiful symbol against the crisp morning sky. by @barnraiserconstruction

"Welcome to the jungle" as we breathe new life into this historic home! On homes like these, each layer of demolition brings a new challenge and window into the past. We discovered two layers of previous tile that needed to come out before the new tile could go in, which matches the original style well. We were even able to restore the cast-iron tub that is nearly 100 years old! Swipe for the "before" by @barnraiserconstruction

Now that Halloween is over, it’s time to restore this historic home in Hampton Pinckney! Working in the historic district is an exciting challenge that pushes us to use historically-appropriate materials, techniques, and even tools. Stay tuned to see this beauty come back to life! #historicarchitecture #restorations #historichouse by @barnraiserconstruction
