From overgrown to under control. 🌾➡️🌱

A skid steer with a brush hog lets us tackle tall grass and thick vegetation efficiently while providing better maneuverability around trees, fences, and uneven terrain than other equipment.

Planning to build next spring? Site preparation can start now.

This builder pad went from raw land to a cleared, graded, ready-to-build site — all before the ground gets too wet to work.

Getting your site-prep done this fall means you're not scrambling once spring building season hits. by @barrettlandservices

This is what forestry mulching actually gets you.

No more fighting through dead brush and cedar just to see your own property, just clean, usable land! 🤩

We hope everyone has the best week! by @barrettlandservices

Fall is clearing season, and there's real reasoning behind it.

As temperatures drop, vegetation goes dormant. That means less regrowth after mulching since root systems aren't pulling the energy they would during peak growing season. Cooler air also keeps equipment running efficiently for longer, and ground that's firmed up after summer makes for easier, cleaner access.

If you've got overgrown acreage or a pad site you've been meaning to tackle, this is the window to get it done before winter weather makes things harder to reach.

80 acres in a local neighborhood burned last year. This firebreak helped keep that fire from spreading to more properties. 🏠

A firebreak is a cleared strip of bare ground that takes away the dry grass and brush a fire needs to keep moving. Around homes, barns, and property lines, it gives you a buffer between your place and whatever's burning next door. As you know Oklahoma grass is DRY right now.

If you've got acreage and want a firebreak put in, give us a call.

Project: New construction pad site for a local builder

Scope: Started with a wooded site that needed to be opened up for new construction. We cleared the building area, removed trees/vegetation, completed the necessary dirt work, and graded/prepped the pad site for the builder’s next phase.

Thankful always for the work! 🙏 by @barrettlandservices

Drainage problems, ruts, washouts, and rough driveways don't fix themselves over the winter — they usually get worse. If your property has an issue you've been putting off, now's the time to get it handled before spring. Give us a call and we'll come take a look. by @barrettlandservices

The difference usually isn't the gravel. It's what's underneath: the grade, the crown, a solid base, and giving the water somewhere to go besides straight down your driveway.
