SHE PRE-ORDERED THE BOOK 📕

Our #20YearsOfgsport Ambassador @bashi2503 locked in her order for ‘Making Women’s Sport Visible: 20 Years of gsport’ the day pre-orders opened, and she has already told us why she could not wait.

For years she has wanted to know what was going through my mind the moment Kass naidoo had the idea for gsport.

That story, and so many more, live in this book: the untold stories, the highs and the lows, the milestones and the breakthroughs, and the grit and the grind behind the glamour.

How to pre-order:
1. Visit the website (link in bio)
2. Choose your edition: ebook (PDF or ePUB), softcover or hardcover.
3. Hardcover orders are signed by Kass and come with a limited edition bookmark and an entry into the draw for a ticket to the book launch.
4. Orders ship on 30 November.

Thank you, Prabashnee, for celebrating, recognising and elevating women in sport alongside us. The countdown starts now.

A POWER CHAT. 🏏✨🏐
with GSPORT 2026 COACH OF THE YEAR, MANDLA MASHIMBYI

Meeting Coach Mandla was on my Vision Board. 🙌
Coaching our @proteaswomenCSA on the global stage, Coach Mandla has always been an inspiration to me — as I’m certain he is to so many athletes around the world.

A few hours before the GSport 2026 Awards, there he was, sitting in the foyer of @proteahotelwanderers

I froze. 🥹

Then Coach M turned his head my way… our smiles locked. 🤭 And that was the moment.

I greeted him, introduced myself and sat down next to him for a 5-minute Power Chat. 🙌

One NUGGET from Coach Mandla:
ATTITUDE is everything.

For him, player attitude is his biggest priorities in coaching — because talent can take you to the game, but attitude determines how you show up✨

I also met Coach M's Beautiful Princess..Who might just be a future Volleyball Player 😊🫶 👌🥹

🥈 SAMVA NATIONALS 2026 | DREAM TEAM 🏐✨

Celebrating a Milestone in my Volleyball Journey… 🥹

To be selected for the Dream Team in the Females 40+ division at the SAMVA Nationals 2026 is such a special honour.

To walk away with a 🥈 Podium finish AND a place in the Dream Team makes this tournament even more memorable. 🌟🏐

SAMVA Nationals kicked off with the 40+ division, where I represented Fairburos Volleyball Club and we battled our way to a Silver Medal 🥈 — with the added honour of being selected to the Dream Team. ✨

And what an experience it was🌟🙌💪

Invited by Fairburos VC, found me wanting to immerse myself in the opportunity to share the court with volleyball players I had played alongside 32 years ago, and competed against for more than three decades.

This was a team made up of volleyball legends — past teammates, present teammates and players from different chapters of my volleyball journey — united by one shared goal: to compete, to enjoy the moment, and to finish on the podium.

We Competed, Contributed and Most of all Played with Heart❣️
The experience was filled with ✨️B’VOLLEYD MOMENTS✨️

Grateful for my teammates, our coaches, the battles, the laughs, every point, and every moment on that court.

Volleyball continues to give me moments I could never have scripted.

Still showing up. Still playing. Still flying. 🏐✨

Bronze at the 2026 SAMVA National Tournament! 🥉🏐💗

To stand on the national podium in our home city of Durban is a moment we’ll always be proud of. This medal in the 30+ category represents the hard work, sacrifices, lessons and commitment of every player who stepped onto the court and fought for the team.

We leave with bronze around our necks and an even stronger belief in where this team is going. 💙🩷
