✨🙌🏽✨🙌🏽What an honor to get to represent @batalahouston again and with our Director Luana @_laluluz_ at this year’s Notting Hill Carnival @nhcarnivalldn !! This was a particularly special occasion getting to play with Luana at this event after 13 years of learning from them and growing with them as fellow drummers, mothers, and humans in this band. I’m overcome with immense gratitude for them having been my starting point and connection🌈to samba reggae, Brazil and Afro-Brazil, and the Batalá project. Te agradeço muito, Luana 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 It was incredible to get to learn and play alongside old and new friends from all over the globe 🌎 A huge parabéns to the organizing administrative and artistic teams for another beautiful event this year🙌🏽 Salve Mestre Giba Gonçalves @gibagoncalves8 Salve samba reggae e a cultura afro-brasileira 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🪘🥁🪘🥁 by @batalahouston
