THE GUMMY BEARS’ GREAT WAR
18-22 November @voilafest @etcetera_theatre_camden London https://www.voilafestival.co.uk/events/the-gummy-bears-great-war/

POSTS STORIES REELS

We’re thrilled to have won the International Talent Award, presented to us by @general_bunker and @adam__potrykus for @stoffholm with The Gummy Bears’ Great War
A special thank you to @francesca.r.vitale1 and @lombardo_renato for initiating and fostering the collaboration between @fringe_catania_off_festival and @iicstoccolma , and for making this all possible.

We can’t wait to follow our little gummy bears all the way from Cagliari to Stockholm!

Here is the motivation for the award:

Winner motivation:
For an inventive and deeply engaging performance that combines clever object theatre with a powerful reflection on the absurdity of war. From Cagliari to the world, Valentina Fadda and Leonardo Tomasi, under the creative leadership of Angelo Trofa, show what independent theatre can achieve: a complete theatre in miniature, ready to spring to life wherever an audience gathers.
Their tabletop army of sweets draws us into a story of ambition, fear and tragic consequences.
Sharp, surprising and unexpectedly moving, The Gummy Bears’ Great War shows how the smallest characters can confront the biggest questions. It’s the kind of bold imagination we love to champion at STOFF. We’re thrilled to welcome Batisfera to our 18th edition programme in 2027, thanks to our partnership with Catania OFF and the Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm!
Helena Bunker & Adam Potrykus - Co-Directors and Co-Founders, Stockholm Fringe Festival

Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity!
