A little glimpse into our rehearsals! This Thursday at ADE, Eran Har Even and I (Hypnosphere) are joining forces with Lucien Foort for a special immersive live performance! Driving techno grooves meet atmospheric sounds, live guitar and spontaneous improvisation, with music moving all around the audience through an immersive DAS Audio sound system. We’re excited to see where the music takes us! 📅 Thursday, October 22 🕚 Live performance starts at 23:00 📍 Broedplaats Baggerbeest, Amsterdam Hope to see you there! by @bauwhaus
On Thursday, October 22, I’ll be at Analog Kitchen presents: HOW WE PLAY LIVE at Broedplaats Baggerbeest in Amsterdam! During the afternoon, I’ll be joining the panel discussion on electronic live setups, machines, and everything that can go wrong on stage. In the evening, together with Lucien Foort and Eran Har Even, we’ll be performing an immersive live set, combining analog gear, live guitar, electronics, and improvisation—with sound moving around the audience through a DAS Audio immersive PA system. We’ve had some amazing sessions in the studio, and I can’t wait to bring this to a live audience! Location: Broedplaats Baggerbeest, Amsterdam Date: Thursday, October 22 (ADE week) Panel from 15:00 | Evening program from 20:00 Hope to see you there! by @bauwhaus
It’s a shame you’re not in the room with us! Honestly, the camera mic doesn’t come close to capturing the real impact here… Testing a quadraphonic sound system together with sound architect Attie Bauw as part of our artistic research project Hypnosphere. Exploring how immersive sound can reshape the relationship between us, the space, and the audience. Really fascinating stuff! Headphones are highly recommended! #Hypnosphere #ImmersiveAudio #SpatialAudio #LiveElectronics #SoundArt @submarinepickup @bauwhaus by @bauwhaus
“Nothing to see” Rehearsing and refining our approach to spatial audio diffusion at @nxtmuseum. This project revisits the rich 20th-century electroacoustic movement born in Montréal (traditionally called Rien à Voir) where the visual is stripped away entirely, leaving only the raw, physical relationship between sound and space. Using the incredible @4dsound system as our contemporary canvas, my colleagues from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I will be live-diffusing works by Natasha Barrett, Francis Dhomont, and more, pushing the boundaries of performative immersive audio. Join us this Wednesday, June 17th, at Nxt Museum. Sound starts at 20:30. #SpatialAudio #ImmersiveSound #4DSOUND #NxtMuseum by @bauwhaus
My favorite place to be! In the studio with Attieee! #cominghome #neverchangeawinningteam #outsoon! by @bauwhaus
Yesterday Attie Bauw @bauwhaus and Michel Schoots hosted a mixing and mastering workshop for the Sony A&R team. A great way to close the gap between labels and studios. Lots of great talks, even better questions and awesome stories. Can’t wait to get you back in the studio! @sonymusic @sonymusicnl @sonymusicbe @laserbysonymusic by @bauwhaus
Not much time left, so hurry if you’re interested💫 by @bauwhaus

I have two favourite drummers: one took the stairway to heaven, and the other one played last night in 013. Huge thanks to G. Love & Special Sauce and to my drum hero, Jeffrey Clemens, for having us as guests and for an unforgettable night! 🥁 #GLoveAndSpecialSauce #JeffreyClemens #DrumHero #LiveMusic #013Tilburg #GuestPass by @bauwhaus
Alleen één single zag ooit het daglicht: onze cover van “Like a Rolling Stone”. Eeuwig zonde 🎶😱🎵 by @bauwhaus
Enjoy it while you can. by @bauwhaus
What a journey it has been so far!
We started earlier this year on our debut vinyl release, and it’s been such a pleasure working with an amazing team of beautiful people. Special thanks to @mozesmeijer for the good vibes at his studio. @ruben_kieftenbelt for his sharp ears and attention to every detail in the mix. @bauwhaus for bringing the music closer to the listener through his mastering. And last but not least, @goytung for designing the beautiful artwork. Not to forget the incredible band — sharing their vibes and musical wisdom throughout the process. @jamespatrickmcclure @azu_bass @onnogovaert @engelhardrobin Below are some moments from the journey: 1. Pressing that record button 2. Robin in action 3. The joy of mixing 4. Magic 5. Album tracks completed 6. Celebrating 🎉 Special thanks for @afk020 for their support by @bauwhaus
