There’s one more chance to make sweet fall memories with us! Join us at Living Hope pumpkin Patch this Thursday, October 29, at 6 pm for our final Pumpkin Patch Story Time of the season.

The Library of Things Showdown is HERE! 🎉

We’re kicking off the Library of Things Showdown, and we want YOU to be part of it! Each week, a new pair of items will go head-to-head, and you get to help us decide which ones you’d love to see in our collection.

Here’s how to join the fun: stop by the bracket board next to the library services desk and place a heart next to the item you’d most like us to add.

Your votes will help guide what we consider purchasing for our very own Library of Things!

We can’t wait to see which items come out on top! 🥰

Big news for our Programming and Marketing Lead, Kathy, but a bittersweet goodbye for our library team! 💛

After pouring so much creativity, care, and hard work into our library, Kathy is moving on to an exciting new role within the city. While we’ll miss having her on our team, we’re so happy to see her take this next step!

Thank you for everything, Kathy. We’re so lucky to have worked with you, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do next! ✨ by @baytownlibrary

A peek at what we have planned for October. 🍂 by @baytownlibrary

📚 A small change is coming to Libby!

Starting Thursday, October 1, Libby will require a PIN when you sign in to access Sterling Municipal Library’s digital collection.

Your PIN will be:
The first three letters of your last name, in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS

For example:
Last name: Brown
PIN: BRO

When signing in, you’ll still select Sterling Municipal Library and enter your library card number as usual — you’ll just enter your new PIN as an additional step.

No need to create or request a PIN! Your PIN will automatically follow the format above.

If you have trouble signing in after the change, please contact the Library Help Desk and we’ll be happy to help! by @baytownlibrary
