“I am Christian. I am Hindu. I am Muslim. I am atheist.”

In India, we often hear these words described as our identity.

But here’s something worth thinking about:

No child is born knowing that they are Christian, Hindu, Muslim, or atheist.

We are born into families.
We are born into cultures.
And from those families and cultures, we are taught how to understand the world. In your words you were converted.

So when someone says, “I was born into this religion,” technically, they were born into a family that practiced that religion.

But here’s the important question:

Have we ever stopped to ask why you believe what you believe?

Something being passed down to us doesn’t automatically make it true or false.

It simply means we were taught.

And I believe we have an intellectual and moral responsibility to examine what we’ve inherited.

I was born into a Christian family. My family has been missionaries and pastors for almost four generations.

Yet I became an atheist.

I questioned Christianity.
I investigated other religions.
I scrutinized Christianity the religion I had been taught.

And after that journey, I came back to Christianity not simply because I inherited it, but because I became convinced that Jesus Christ is true. It took 20 years of my life to be converted into Christianity even being born into Christian family which has missionary roots.

So don’t believe something merely because your families or community taught you. You are an intelligent being question it investigate it and come to conclusion.

And don’t reject something merely because your parents taught you.

Question it. Investigate it. Follow the evidence.

Because truth isn’t determined by what family you were born into.

Truth is worth seeking even when it challenges what you inherited.

Matthew 7:7 Jesus tells us to seek, ask and knock
John 8:32 Jesus says knowing truth will set us free from bondage of our false world

John 14:6 Jesus claims I am the way, the truth and the life. In this I believe #Jesus #sanatani #muslim #Christian #conversion by @bbc48_95

Christian missionaries do all kinds of good works, such as building orphanages and homes for the elderly, providing education, and feeding the poor, simply to make them converts.

What a lie!

Christians do not feed the poor in order to convert them. It is an expression of their obedience to God.

* Matthew 25:31–45
* John 15:7–8
* James 1:27

Many people converted to Christianity because it was the first time they experienced genuine love and compassion.

How do we know the power of God’s Word and the power of the Holy Spirit is
present in a church?
There are some preachers who say, “I see God’s power and His glory in the church. I
see the Holy Spirit and His power in the church.” They keep repeating, words like
“Glory, power, fire.” But merely repeating these words does not cause or show that
the power of God’s Word or the Holy Spirit is truly at work (Matthew 6:7). Repeating
these words may just stir up people’s emotions to lead them into an ecstatic
experience and become deceived that they are receiving God’s power and the Holy
Spirit.
How, then, do we know that the power of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit are at work
in a church?
1 Thessalonians 1:2–7 provides a wonderful example of the power of gospel and the
work of the Holy Spirit. Here, Paul and his companions were able to determine that
the church of Thessalonica is God’s elect when they had seen Holy Spirit brought
conviction in the church, this is according to Christ’s teaching on Holy Spirit found in
John 16:7-14. This conviction enabled the church to believe the message preached
by Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy
They not only believed, but their lives were changed as they became imitators of
Paul, Silvanus and Timothy and also of the Lord. All of this in joy Holy Spirit while
enduring much affliction and persecution (Acts 17:5–9). By seeing their response
Paul and his companions were able to determine that the church is authentic
This is the evidence of a true church and a believer in whom the Power of God’s
word and of the Holy Spirit is at work
• Conviction
• Faith
• Imitators of Christ
• Joy in affliction
These are the marks that demonstrate the power of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit
in the life of a believer and in a church. It is not by having some supernatural
experience and church going into a frenzy when they preacher says words like glory,
power and fire. #christ #church #god #holyspirit #jesus by @bbc48_95

What is our intention of preaching the gospel? The most important aspect or
the final outcome of the gospel is that there comes a kingdom that will last forever
it is the kingdom of God. There is a King who conquered sin and death. This
kingdom is at hand. As, the world is passing away this kingdom is coming near.
There is no hope for this world. The world will be destroyed along with its lovers.
Revelation 21:1
[1] Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth
had passed away, and the sea was no more. (ESV)
So, my dear friend let us remember that every ministry that we do as christians
should have one objective only one, to introduce them to the Kingdom of God.
When we stretch out our hand to help the needy, poor we are not trying to make
their life better in this world. We are introducing them to the kingdom of God where
there is no more strife and lack. When we wipe the tears of the broken hearted in
the world. We are not making them happy so they can have a better worldly life,
we are introducing them to the kingdom of God where there is no more weeping
but, filled with joy. When we are preaching the gospel we are introducing Jesus
Christ the King of King’s and the Lord of Lord’s. So, let us not carry this extra
burden of making the world a better place or the burden of being a world changer
but, continue to do one objective only one to preach and proclaim of the kingdom
of God. #christ #church #God #Jesus #kingdomofgod by @bbc48_95

Purpose of our salvation is to bring glory to Christ. #christ #church #bible #sermon #God by @bbc48_95

Next time if you see anyone on your screen saying stop scrolling , The Lord will bless you. Do not believe in him.

3 Reasons
* Mostly they take the scripture out of the context and say it applies to you. They do not put any effort to understand the meaning of the scripture. Just as lazy and selfish interpretation
* Mostly the blessings they talk about are materialistic such as finances, houses, relationships, health. God never promised us that we will have the best life now. He provides us what we need to accomplish His will
* If you are a true child of God any blessing that comes from God mostly or always have an eternal significance. If having good health does not help you in your eternity God may let you go through the suffering so, in that you may be confirmed into the image of Christ. If financial shortcomings helps building your faith and dependence on God may let you go through that.

Lately, I have been praying and seeking God in tears as, I see the mayhem that is
happening in the world. To be specific I have been crying out to God about my
country of India and seeing the pain and persecution that my people are going
through. I wanted to do something about it. I started seeking God for His will and
asked Him for guidance to do something that could change the world and my
country,
As, I seek His will I was confronted by God’s word and I was also comforted. I
would like to share my thought. So, the Lord may guide all of us to walk in His will
and purposes.
What is the purpose of our gospel ministry? We tend to believe the world needs to
be changed. There should be some reforms or revivals to to be made to the make
the world a better place. In that many Christian ministries are built and many
gospel meetings are being held. We carry this burden and most of us think it is
honest and a ideal intention. Most of our churches teach this.
However, the teaching that the scripture teaches is wholly distinct and dissimilar to
this teaching.
1 John 2:17
the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of
God abides forever
We only have to look around and see, after all this great scientific, moral, medical,
judiciary development the world is far from getting better, the world is not even
stable. After all, the world is being led to destruction. We are in a war zone. War
between ideas, political stance, religious beliefs, countries. There is constant chaos
around the world.
Preaching gospel is not about changing the world. Jesus did not change the world,
He was not even interested in changing the government. Jesus’s mission in this
world was simple, to proclaim of the kingdom God. He even taught about
submitting to the leaders by paying taxes
