If you know me, you know I've had a long time non-love affair with my hair. I have struggled with it for very long time, always wishing that I had a lot more of it. Unfortunately keeping my luscious head of hair was not in the cards for me and to be honest, I just was not digging how my hairline was retreating and what my overall aesthetic was. A number of years ago I decided to shave it down just to see what the bald head looked like, and while I did like it better than the hair I had, I didn't like the bald look either. I felt stuck and didn't know what other options i had short of taking medication for the rest of my life or participating in a hair transplant. Neither of those options we're interesting enough for me to pursue. About a year ago I found the Toupee Queen on Instagram who was doing highly impressive toupee installations. I come from a generation where toupees looked really bad and I carried that stigma with me until last October. Seeing what the Toupee Queen was doing with these guys showed me that this, indeed, might be an option i could be interested in. So I did some more research on her website and I found somebody that had studied under her and she was located in Columbus. Even though it was 2 hours away from me, it seemed close enough to pursue and get more information on. This is how I found Lindsay Cole. I started messaging her with all the standard newbie questions about what a toupee installation looks like, what the maintenance upkeep is like and all the other questions you probably have as well. Lindsay has been very honest with what to expect, what responsibilities I have on my end, and what a long-term relationship with a hair system would look like. This past Monday, almost a year later, I sat down in a chair at The Afton Blue Salon and we did the toupee installation. Honesty, it was a very exciting moment for me. I was going to get to experience what it was like to have a full head of hair again, but it was important that I was working with somebody that knew how to make it seem as natural as possible. Make no mistake, I am not trying to hide this or fly under the radar. (more in the first comment) by @bbqcentralshow

This week I met Greg, host of @bbqcentralshow Living an active lifestyle we discussed a Lace and tape option. 90% of my guys are wearing a poly glue combo (mostly because that’s what I was trained in) I am loving learning new systems and techniques! 🎙️Stay tuned to follow Greg’s road to a better hairline and regaining his confidence back! You may even catch me on an upcoming segment! Drop your questions below!! 💈Wonder what goes into a consultation? Sometimes after months or years of research guys pop in for 10 minutes to get color matched and book. Other times we are 45 minutes deep into hair loss journey, medications/topicals used, failed transplants, fears, and doubts. DM me to book your free consultation!! 📍Columbus OH or Virtual 📲 #hairreplacement #hairsystem #toupee #hairline #columbus by @bbqcentralshow
