Don’t trust HR? You can still learn how to use the process. 👀

“My manager is bullying me” → tell them what happened, when, and who witnessed it. Ask what comes next, then follow up in writing.

Corporate English is wild because “friendly reminder” can be written by someone who has not felt friendly since Tuesday.

Welcome to PER MY LAST NERVE: The Corporate Bullshit Dictionary. 📖

For everyone who has typed “happy to help” while whispering something entirely different at the laptop.

Which phrase needs a definition next? Drop it below. We’re building Vol. 02, and “just checking in” is already outside the door.

Save this for your next inbox spiral. Send it to the work bestie who knows exactly what your “noted” meant. #workplaceculture #corporatelife #worklife #fypシ by @bccdhr

I’ve seen employees work incredibly hard and still get caught off guard by decisions happening around them.

Sometimes the missing piece is understanding how the workplace operates.

If you’re trying to navigate a situation at work and need an experienced HR perspective, BCC’d HR offers one-on-one strategy calls. Link in bio. 💌

Work-life balance gets talked about like it's something a company hands you during onboarding.

The truth is, your workplace culture matters a lot—but so do the expectations you set around your own availability.

If you're always reachable, always saying yes, always answering after hours, that can quietly become the standard people expect from you.

Your employer should create a healthy environment. You still have to decide what access to you actually looks like.

🤔 Career reflection: What's one boundary you wish you had set earlier?

Success is a beautiful goal.

Losing yourself on the way there isn’t.

Somewhere along the way, we normalized overworking, overextending, and wearing burnout like a badge of honor. A career should challenge you, help you grow, and create opportunities—not leave you feeling disconnected from yourself.

Your ambition deserves boundaries too.

💭 What’s one boundary you’ve put in place that’s made you better at work—not worse?

Here’s something I wish more employees believed:

Taking up space and taking up *too much* space are not the same thing.

Stop editing yourself before anyone has given you a reason to.

Your voice deserves to be in the room.

💬 Have you ever caught yourself shrinking at work?

Understanding workplace dynamics isn’t about playing politics.

It’s about understanding the environment you’re working in.

The strongest professionals don’t ignore how organizations operate—they learn how to navigate them with integrity, awareness, and intention.

Knowing the landscape doesn’t make you manipulative.

It makes you prepared.

💭 Do you think workplaces are true meritocracies, or do relationships and trust shape opportunities too?

Every career decision comes with a trade-off.

The question isn’t whether saying “yes” is the right move.

The question is: **what are you unintentionally saying “no” to?**

Another project might mean less time to focus on the work you’re actually evaluated on.

Always being the dependable one can quietly become the expectation instead of the exception.

Being known as the person who never says no doesn’t automatically make you the strongest performer. Sometimes it just makes you the busiest.

Career strategy isn’t about saying yes to every opportunity.

It’s about knowing which opportunities deserve your time, your energy, and your reputation.

Every “yes” has a cost.

Choose them intentionally.

Most people think influence is something you’re given after a promotion.

The reality is, influence is built long before the title ever changes.

People remember patterns.
They remember consistency.
They remember who they can trust when it counts.

The little things have a way of becoming the big things.
