More #madsmikkelsen In Leyendecker style🌹🌹🌹
While drawing this I thought actually he could be a very good life action Zeke Jaeger too OMG by @bearbrickjia

The Kiss of Death🌹 #hannigram in Mucha style!

The poses were based on a marble sculpture with the same name by Jaume Barba, located at the Poblenou Cemetery in Barcelona, Spain. While the skeleton mural in the background is from the Hannibal series itself.

Mucha is one of my all time favourite artists, I currently have four Mucha artbooks and the fifth one is on the way lol. Always wanted to study his work and create a piece based on his beautiful art style, and I finally did it with this one! This piece is very experimental, I used a lot of poster edges filter to create the line effects, and it looked not bad(?)

HD artwork will be on my Patreon soon!
If you’re interested, I also just made a long post about updates on my life, art block, art style exploration and self-reconciliation(hope I’m not being too vulnerable):

I’ve been interested in liminal spaces for quite some time. An empty train carriage reminds me of that: a steel womb suspended between departures, where time and space are blurred, where identity dissolves.

Outside, a whale’s eye drifts like a lunar eclipse, introspecting and also speaking the truth, moon phases whisper the impermanance of joy, sorrow and identity. Here, humanity is reduced to its essence, everyone of us are trapped in solitary transit. This artwork is an exploration of being, a meditation on the unsetting beauty of our temporary ride through the cosmos.

Another experimental and surreal piece after Pearl(March 2025), which is also related to a mother’s womb. I’m very intrigued by Carl Jung’s views on the relationship between dreams and the unconscious mind, and I’ve been recording my own dreams for quite some time. It’s fascinating to reread them, especially when I’ve already forgotten about my own dreams after a while. This has somehow become another source of inspiration for my art now. I don’t know where this will take me, but I’m taking it slow.

introducing MISSED CONNECTIONS, coming to a bookstore near you on April 27, 2027… (a cover reveal and book announcement post all in one!)

Jasmine Nur will do anything to escape her childhood home—even flee in the middle of the night with her bags packed, anxiety weighing down her chest. She heads for LaGuardia Airport, ready to sacrifice everything she’s ever known in the hopes of starting anew. But every time she attempts to board her flight, she wakes up back at her gate. Again, and again, and again.

Lost in airport limbo, Jasmine meets three other teenagers who are equally stuck, including Logan Mercier, a college student who’s perfectly content to stay in the airport forever. Upon discovering the other flights take her and her new friends to memories they’d rather forget, Jasmine must decide how far she’s willing to go to escape the airport—and if she’s capable of facing the horrors that sent her running in the first place.

For readers who have ever felt stuck, literally or metaphorically, comes a YA speculative coming-of-age tale that sweetly spotlights how sometimes, what you need has been in your hands the whole time.

gorgeous incredible cover art by Karmen Loh aka @bearbrickjia (who always gifts me with the most beautiful covers of all time) and art direction by Emma Schoeni! I can’t wait for all of you to hold this book in your hands in exactly a year ✈️💙💜 by @bearbrickjia

Are you ready for my weirdest and silliest book yet?? Have you ever wondered what would happen if you woke up as a Japanese folkloric monster and the only way to fix it was to convince the prince of hell to marry you through a Bachelor-style reality TV show?? Do you want to see frogs in party hats?? Princes crying over mayonnaise?? Cousins who turn into fish at inconvenient times?? Then this book is for you!
Thanks to @bearbrickjia for another amazing cover! ❤️
