Founded by industry veterans Brittany Calbert and Justin Adams, Beaumont Builders was born from a desire to set a new benchmark in client satisfaction and efficiency. After overseeing over $1 billion in construction projects for one of the largest commercial construction companies in the United States —including notable landmarks like the Odyssea Aquarium and Retail Complex, Mayo Clinic, Phoenix Light Rail Expansion and Arizona State University’s high-tech robotics lab—they left the corporate world to create a nimble company that truly partners with clients. by @beaumontbuilders

A 1920s landmark. A new chapter in Downtown Phoenix.

The CivicGroup and Sunflower Development Group are beginning the early phases of reimagining the historic Security Building in downtown Phoenix into a future hotel with five different F&B concepts. The vision and Development efforts are lead by @derosechris

This is adaptive reuse at its best — honoring the craftsmanship and character of a century-old structure while imagining what it can become. We are in the very early stages of concept, budgeting, and design. The team cannot wait to share more as the vision takes shape.

Stay tuned….coming soon! 🏨✨

Seventeen years of rigorous training and experience building up to the foundation of both construction companies @beaumontbuilders & @desertdwellingdevelopment. November marks our 2 year anniversary! 🙌🎉🍾

Beaumont Builders and Desert Dwelling Development started with the same four people who had already spent seventeen years building side by side.

Commercial on one side. Residential on the other. Same standard and expertise on both.

Meet the Owner: Brittany Calbert-Dreyer

Beaumont Builders didn’t start in a boardroom. It started with two real builders that grew up on job sites and never left the field.

Prior to cofounding Beaumont, Brittany spent 17 years at one of the country’s largest commercial builders, leading landmark Arizona work — $125m OdySea Aquarium and Retail Center (ENR Hospitality and Gaming Project of the Year), ASU’s $170M ISTB12 robotics lab (ENR Project of the Year), and ASU’s $75M University Gateway Building on the corner of Mill & University.

Brittanys passion for building started while leading self-perform concrete work and Design Build projects in her 20’s. She left that world with her business partner, friend and colleague of 17 years to build something different; a company where the people who win the work are the people who deliver it.

Architect by training (ASU). Builder by blood. Known for staying close to the field, bridging design and construction, and truly partnering with clients, designers and trade partners.

That’s the standard she set when she co-founded Beaumont.
Proud of the work. Proud of the team. A builder with heart.

Meet the Owner: Justin Adams
Beaumont Builders didn’t start in a boardroom. It started with two real builders that grew up on job sites and never left the field.

Justin has 20 years in construction across Arizona and New Mexico with one of the largest General Contractors in the country — where he rose to Senior Director and ran over $600 million in work in his last five years before starting Beaumont two years ago.

ASU. NAU. Mayo Hospital Vertical Expansion (National ENR Project of the Year). Healthcare on live campuses. Education. Infrastructure. Design-Build, CMAR, lump sum. Leading large scale Self-Perform projects including Concrete, Steel, MEP and Civil. Justin also ran the healthcare business units Special Services Group — 20+ specialized jobs a year, MRI suites, ORs, surgical upgrades and vertical expansion hospital towers.

He started in residential building custom homes in 2004, then moved into big commercial. Family introduced him to the trade. He stayed.

Justin and his wife Ashley, a luxury residential interior designer also have a passion for fixing and flipping custom homes in their spare time.

That’s who co-founded Beaumont; someone with the sophistication of a large GC but a humble entrepreneur with a passion for detail, client experience, and excellent project execution.

Two years ago two friends that worked together for 17 years at a large corporate construction company decided to follow their dreams and start their own company.

We knew we could build something special and finally decided to take a year to invest in ourselves and build a business.

It wasn’t easy…most people didn’t care about our previous experience they wanted to see what we had built by ourselves.

But we didn’t give up….and we thank god every day for three special clients that trusted us to build their projects.

All three clients were fellow entrepreneurs that started from nothing just like us and grew large successful businesses. Our clients became our friends.

We worked hard…harder than we ever had, we never gave up
because failure wasn’t an option.

Our spouses, family and friends supported us unconditionally.

We formed an amazing network of fellow entrepreneurs that encouraged and helped us along the way.

We hired the most incredible team that we continue to grow. A team of true builders as we were taught to be but without the corporate politics….a real family
culture.

The first year that we invested in ourselves….ended up
being the best investment we’d ever made.

Thank you to everyone that believed in us and supported us, it means more than you’ll ever know! by @beaumontbuilders
