I am seriously struggling with this lady. I keep working on her and then taking it all out. I also have no idea how to actually quilt her. I have a few ideas, and I hope to have her finished this weekend. @tinyquiltswaps #tqsweqs2026 by @beautiful.chaotic.mess325

The first day of Fall brought this cutie to our family. She actually turned up at my brother's house. My brother, sister in law and niece took care of her, named her (Pumpkin Spice but called Punkin'), and loved her. But when they had to find her a new home because they have dogs... my niece said "call Aunt Amy."

And Aunt Amy was the right person to call. She is the perfect addition to our little circus! I LOVE HER SO MUCH. And if I didn't already love Autumn enough, I have one more HUGE, yet tiny (she only weighs 1 pound 6 ounces), reason! by @beautiful.chaotic.mess325

Progress Check in #1 for #tqsweqs2026 @tinyquiltswaps . Now that she is all pieced together it is time to have some fun. Let's add some rain and some sparkle! by @beautiful.chaotic.mess325

I am trying something new this year and joining the #tinyquiltswap #tqsweqs2026 I have chosen the Singing in the Rain pattern after I received a GORGEOUS MINI in a past swap from @denisecantrell4321 . It still remains one of my all time favorite minis and I have always wanted to make one. The fabrics on the left are ones I have pulled for the umbrella and the two on the right are for her dress and boots. I would LOVE any HELP and INPUT on how to make the rainbow gradient flow better.!!! OR ANY SUGGESTIONS IN GENERAL. Also, I plan on doing a lot of special hand quilting and some extras to really spice her up!!! by @beautiful.chaotic.mess325

*NOT MY WORK OR PHOTOS* I got to meet up with my amazing #wintersolsticeminiquilts2025 partner @thequiltytaxnerd yesterday for a festive coffee and the final reveal of the mini she made me. OH MY GOODNESS... IT IS UNREAL. It is everything I could have ever wished for AND MORE! THE DETAILS ARE UNREAL! Also, a huge thank you to Kahlee @fourthhousequilts for doing the custom quilting! This masterpiece already has a permanent year round spot in my sewing room! Thank you @coppermoonquilting for hosting!!! And thank you so much to Annie. This mini is such a gift, but your friendship is invaluable!!! by @beautiful.chaotic.mess325

Check-in #1 for winter solstice mini quilt swap... I hope my partner likes the direction I am taking this!!!! by @beautiful.chaotic.mess325

Hi quilty friends! I have already been digging through my stash, granting as many wishes as possible. Here are my quilty wishes this year for #getyourquiltywishesgranted11

1. This year, I would love black and navy pieces that can be used on midnight garden blocks. Any size solids, stripes, patterns, fun prints, and fussy cuts are all welcome!

2. Fun holiday prints that can be fussy cut for door and windows of holiday houses. (These houses are a Kate Basti pattern) I am looking for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentines, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, 4th of July, I HAVE PLENTY OF halloween.

Please remember to post your wishes. I love granting! by @beautiful.chaotic.mess325

I love all things Christmas and winter! (I am not a huge fan of poinsettas, but EVERYTHING ELSE!!!) I love pinks and teals mixed with traditional greens and reds and golds. I hope my #wintersolsticeminiquilts2025 partner finds some inspo in some of my favorite fabrics!!! by @beautiful.chaotic.mess325

Okay, my mini is finished and packaged up with some fun autumn goodies and extras; and it is ready to go in the mail Monday. I have really enjoyed this round of swaps and hope my partner likes what I have made. Once again, thank you Kahlee @fourthhousequilts for the custom free motion quilting on my mini. Thank you, Annie @thequiltytaxnerd, for shopping with me for fabrics, being my teaching and sounding board, and my silly friend through this whole process. Also, @lisabug1971, because you keep me laughing, like really LAUGHING EVERY SINGLE DAY! And goodness gracious do I need that! And, last but not least, thanks again to @coppermoonquilting for hosting this swap. by @beautiful.chaotic.mess325

With all the changes I had made during this swap, I really felt like my partner deserved an extra sneak peek. I just got it back from @fourthhousequilts, and she did a fantastic job custom fmq.
