⭐ A BRILLIANT PIECE OF ADVICE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION!

Episode 5 is here, and this time the wonderful @becalynepirkis answers the all-important question:

“What’s one piece of advice you would give to a child who wants to start cooking—or already loves being in the kitchen?” 👩‍🍳🍳

A huge diolch to Beca for sharing her advice and helping to inspire young cooks everywhere! ❤️

This amazing woman, my Nan, sadly passed away last Friday. She was 101 and was an absolute legend, The Queen of Splott. Love you so much Nana. xxxxx by @becalynepirkis

Happy Dietitians Week 2026! I’m so proud to be a dietitian and a lecturer, and although I’m currently in the depths of marking the academic year is jam-packed with lectures, practicals and just being with our awesome students. Here’s my work in 60 seconds from across the last year - a celebration of our students at @cardiffmet #myworkin60secs #myworkin60seconds @bda_dietitians @cardiffmetdieteticsociety @bda_walesboard #dw2026

@becalynepirkis was the best host and made me feel at ease straight away, thank you lovely ❤️
Lovely to also meet @cheftomlodge who handed me a much needed drink after the demo 😊❤️
The whole team were amazing, thank you!

If you haven't been to the festival better get down there tomorrow, banging tunes and lush food on offer. I had so much fun I am heading back down there tomorrow 😊 by @becalynepirkis

Happy 101st Birthday Nan!!

So pleased we could gather and celebrate the Queen of Splott…definitely think that Splott should be considered as a Blue Zone!!

Love making Nan’s birthday cake too - simply decorated with handmade roses and a cheeky nod to some other well known ‘101s’!! Cake was Nan’s lemon sponge recipe, filled with lemon buttercream and lemon curd…the birthday girl approved 🥰.

Happy Birthday Nana - bloody love you!!! 💕💕💕 by @becalynepirkis

Quite possibly the strangest cake I’ve ever made, but @_lowrimorgan knows how much I love a challenge of any kind!? A Demogorgon cake for G’s 11th birthday, complete with waffles and fairy lights - 2 very important elements that needed to be included according to Mari!? G loved the cake, and especially the waffles!! Penblwydd Hapus - edrych mlaen i’r gacen blwyddyn nesaf yn barod!? #strangerthings #demogorgon #waffles #strangerthingscake #cake by @becalynepirkis
