Their love story began with a beautiful twist of fate and a little matchmaking! ❤️🥰 Tolu and Dotun’s paths first crossed through Dotun’s brother-in-law, who met her while she was working part-time at an African grocery store in the UK. After discovering that she was single, he promised to get back to her, but life happened, and she eventually left the job before anything could come of it. Unknown to her, the matchmaking plans were still in motion! Months later, at a friend’s birthday party in Birmingham, Tolu unexpectedly met Dotun’s sister, who immediately recognised her and was determined to introduce her to her brother. Despite Tolu’s initial reluctance, especially about the idea of a long-distance relationship, she eventually agreed to share her number. After a few funny misunderstandings 😂😂 and their first conversations, they began chatting daily and speaking on the phone. What started as an unexpected introduction soon blossomed into something beautiful. They met in August 2025, became a couple in October 2025, and by March 2026, Dotun had proposed!🤩They celebrated their civil wedding in June 2026, and now, their beautiful journey continues. What began with a simple question about Tolu’s relationship status became a love story neither of them could have planned. Truly, when God has a plan, even the most unexpected introductions can lead to forever! ❤️🥰….. #asoebiafrica #beccaaevents #preweddingshoot #traditonalwedding #Eventplannerinibadan Photography: @awgzzz by @becca.a.events
