The heart of Be Centre... a place where children can simply BE, healing from trauma and life challenges, so they can thrive instead of simply survive.

Be Centre is a mental health charity striving to make Play Therapy accessible to every child and family in Australia that needs it. We are a leading Play Therapy centre globally and have been providing specialised therapy programs to children 3-12 years old experiencing trauma and other mental health challenges since our founding in 2008. Be Centre uses Play Therapy as a powerful, evidence-based tool to help children express themselves, process difficult experiences, and build resilience so that they can thrive and reach their full potential.

Our therapists create a ‘safe space’ for the children inside our Play Rooms, giving them a chance to make sense of past events and simply ‘be’, in an environment that’s centred around them.

We exist for them.

Because every child deserves to be truly seen.

At Be Centre, we understand that some of life’s most difficult emotions and experiences are too complex or painful to express in words. Children facing trauma, anxiety or hardship often struggle to communicate what they feel. That’s where we come in.

“What they struggle to say, we help through play.”

Through our innovative Play Therapy Program, we create a safe and nurturing space where children can express themselves freely, without the need for words. Using play as a tool, we help children process their emotions, heal from past trauma and build resilience for the future. It’s in these moments of play that children can find their voice and begin to heal, moving forward with confidence, strength and hope.

At Be Centre, we believe in the power of play to transform lives, helping children communicate, heal and grow in ways that words alone simply can’t.

Yesterday Be Centre was very lucky to be involved in Capstone Recruitment's 2026 Golf Day, for the third year running!

@capstonerecruitment has supported Be Centre through this Golf Day for three years now, inviting us to attend, host a fun raffle and raise funds for the children in need of our support.

We are very pleased to share that we raised over $10,000 to support these children and families!

With 40 children currently on our waitlist, this money supports us to grant scholarships to those who could not otherwise afford to access support.

We cannot thank Capstone enough for showing their support year on year, and inviting us to be a part of their day.

We would also like to extend a big thank you to @mollymookgolf @luxury.escapes @auratreeservices and @manlygolfclub_ for donating the fantastic prizes that went into our raffle, helping us raise these funds.

And finally, a big thank you to @trueprotein for providing protein bites that helped keep the golfers going throughout the day!

Not even the rain could dampen spirits at last week’s Charity Golf Day!

Despite a wet start, our guests brought plenty of smiles and laughter to the course at Mona Vale, making it a memorable day for all.

And the generosity didn’t stop there! Guests joined us afterwards at Mona Social, helping raise an incredible $77,000 for children in need of Be Centre’s support.

That's enough to fund almost 30 children’s scholarships - almost 30 young lives positively impacted through the generosity of a room full of purpose-driven people.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to every guest, sponsor and supporter who helped make the day such a success and contributed to this fantastic fundraising result.

A special thank you to our wonderful venues, @monavalegolfclub @themonasocial, for accommodating us and ensuring everything ran smoothly. We’re also incredibly grateful to our talented photographers, @monocaptus @timseatonvisuals, for capturing the highlights of the day and evening, and to @evdj.au @jasonkazanisauctioneer, our fantastic MC and auctioneer, for keeping the energy high and helping us achieve such an outstanding result.
