Sometimes the only thing standing between you and the life you want is YOU.

We can be our own worst critics. We overthink, doubt ourselves, convince ourselves we’re not ready, that we’re not good enough or that we’ll do it when the time is right.

But how often do we let our own thoughts talk us out of something we really want?

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start. You don’t need to be confident before you take the leap. Sometimes you just need to get out of your own head, stop waiting for the perfect moment and give yourself a chance.

There are only TWO months left of 2026. You can spend them convincing yourself you’ll start next year, or you can make these last few months count and go into 2027 already one step ahead.

Your future self will thank you for starting. 🤍

And if becoming a nail technician has been on your mind, this is your sign!

Our final Gel & Builder Beginners Course of 2026 takes place on 21st & 22nd November.

From training with us to building a business of her own - @bysamanthajane_ 🤍

Samantha trained with us in March last year and has since gone on to build a lovely, loyal clientele alongside her full-time job.

One of the biggest reminders of why she took that step came when she unexpectedly broke her foot and was unable to work in her main job for six months. Having her own nail business to fall back on provided her with financial support when she needed it most.

Her advice to anyone thinking about training?
“Just go for it! Take your time, trust the process and believe in yourself. You never know where that one decision could take you.”

And that’s exactly what we want for every student who walks through our doors. Not just the skills to do nails, but the confidence to build something of their own.

READY TO TAKE YOUR FIRST STEP?

We have just ONE final Gel & Builder Beginners Course date remaining for 2026:

• 21st & 22nd November

A little look into what it’s like when you train with LIT 🤍

Our training days are designed to give you the skills, knowledge, confidence and hands-on experience to build something of your own.

Whether that’s a side hustle, a full-time career or a business that fits around your life and childcare - we give you the foundations to make it happen.

There’s a lot of learning, but there’s also A LOT of fun. You’ll meet other students who are on the same journey, make connections, support each other and often continue following each other’s journeys long after the course has finished. 🥹

Because you’re not just learning a skill with us… you’re joining a community 🤍 by @becky___lit

If I was starting my nail career from scratch, I’d do these 5 things differently…

There’s so much pressure when you’re starting out to learn everything, offer every treatment and say yes to every opportunity.

But looking back, I’d focus on getting the foundations right, treating it like a real business, finding my niche and showing up consistently.

You don’t need to do everything to build a successful nail business. You just need to focus on the right things in the right order.

Save this for when you need a reminder 🤍 by @becky___lit

That moment it finally clicks…
“Wait… I could actually make a career out of this.”

And yes. You absolutely can.

We’ve helped hundreds of students turn their passion for nails into a real career - building a business around their life, creating something they’re proud of and having the freedom to work around their children, family and everything else life throws at them.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to start.

Your passion could be the beginning of something so much bigger 🥹🤍 by @becky___lit

The perfect French for one of my longest clients @ren_bx 🤍

I always know before Rene sits down for her appointment it’s either going to be one of two options…

Peony on it’s own
Or
Peony with a French…

All depending whether she’s in the mood to sit there long enough for me to do a French 😅

Either way… I’m obsessed with bothhhh and her gorgeous nail beds 🙏🏼 by @becky___lit

Watching our students take the skills they learn with us and turn them into something of their own will never get old.

Building from nothing.
Starting with no clients and building a loyal clientele.
Turning a spare room into a nail room.
Starting out doing nails as a side hustle and turning it into a full time career.

Everyone’s journey looks different, but seeing where our students go after leaving LIT is one of the best parts of what we do.

Your course is just the beginning.

Final course dates for 2026 have now been released.

DM “COURSES” and let’s chat 🤍 by @becky___lit

It’s so easy to get caught up thinking about what’s next that we forget to appreciate what’s already here.

The work I get to do, the people I get to spend my time with, the clients who still choose me 15 years later and the students I get to create opportunities for.

Keep working hard. Keep showing up. Find joy in the little things. Life feels so much better when you appreciate what’s already in front of you. by @becky___lit

There is nothing more rewarding than being able to give someone a skill that can help them build a career of their own.

If someone would have told the 15 year old me that one day I’d be teaching other women the skills I’d spent years learning and helping them turn them into careers… I genuinely wouldn’t have believed them.

I started doing nails because I just loved getting my nails done, I never imagined it would grow into a salon, a training academy and a community of women who are now building something of their own.

And I think that’s what makes teaching so special to me.

What started as me just being obsessed with anything and everything to do with nails, has somehow turned into me teaching women all over the world the skills I once taught myself… and I’ll never take that for granted 🫶🏼

If you’re thinking about starting a career in nails, just know you don’t have to have it all figured out at the beginning. You just need to start.

My dms are always open if you need and help or advice 🤍 by @becky___lit

From the Netherlands to Manchester… 🇳🇱✈️🇬🇧

Summer travelled from the Netherlands to train with me in Toenail Reconstruction - and just four days after her training, she was already offering this service to her own clients.

And this is exactly why I love teaching specialist treatments.

You’re not just learning another technique. You’re learning a new service you can take straight back to your business and start charging premium prices for.

One day of training. One new skill. One new in-demand service. 📈
