I finally finished one of the @westknits summer shawls. The Bubbly Blossoms YAL 2023. Ends need to still be woven in and blocking still has to take place but I‘m super happy with how it turned out. Also, L O V E these bright colors and can’t wait to have this joyful and bright shawl to wear (with yarn from Punk Rock Unicorn from Germany) during grey fall and winter days. I spent today sewing together my squares from last month’s #30daysofimprovqal I hope to get it basted together tomorrow and quilted. Hopefully this week I’ll add the binding and then can bring this wall hanging to work with me. #improvquilting #quiltersofinstagram by @beezee_cat

My sticker says, “I am brave!” 🦄 Mike had the flu for the past week and, knock on wood 🪵, I didn’t get it. I scheduled a flu shot so that I can combat any germs I might be bombarded with when I head back to campus next week. #vaccine #fluvaccine by @beezee_cat

Happy International Black Cat Appreciation Day from my sweet, little spirit void Jiji. 🖤🐾 #internationalblackcatappreciationday #blackcats #blackcatsofinstagram #blackcatsrule by @beezee_cat

Okay! Ready! 👏🏻 Days 3 & 4 of week 2. I finished yesterday’s wonky square and like how it came out. It was really fun to make. I made another all L’s square and had my hubs cut the two of them into pieces. One of the squares I made from only the sliced and diced squares. The other one needed some help from my fabric to be able to be large enough. These creative exercises are like putting together a puzzle 🧩. It was an enjoyable process. Hurray to @broadclothstudio @shannonfraserdesigns and @daylight.lamps for the #30daysofimprovqal #quilters #quiltersofinstagram #improvquilting by @beezee_cat
