POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi — if you’re new here, I’m really glad you found your way here 🤍

I’m Dr. Claudia Caprio, a relational therapist and founder of a group practice in South Florida.

I don’t believe meaningful change happens in isolation. We’re not challenged there. We’re not mirrored there. And most of the time, the people who love us are doing their best — but they’re also human, conflict-avoidant, or stuck in their own patterns.

Relationship is where growth happens.

The therapeutic relationship, in particular, is powerful because it’s intentional. It’s protected. It’s a space where someone is fully present with you — able to reflect, gently challenge, and help you move closer to the life you want to be living.

I created CMC Therapy as an extension of that belief. A space to serve people locally and through telehealth, with a team of clinicians who are hand-selected, deeply intentional, and aligned with how I believe this work should be done.

Every therapist at CMC is trained with care, supported through supervision, and chosen thoughtfully. Even when I’m not the one sitting in the room, this work is still guided by my eyes, my values, and my standards.

If you’re feeling stuck — like you can’t quite shift out of the same patterns — you don’t have to do it alone.

You can begin one of the most important relationships of your life with one of our therapists.

Meet Dr. Claudia Caprio: owner, founder, & clinician at CMC Therapy 🤎

She designed CMC to be like a place where you can softly land and just take a moment for yourself.

Life really is too short not to build a life—and a business—with people who feel like home. 🤍

Day came into my life as a clinician, and somewhere along the way, she became one of my best friends.

She believed in the vision of CMC long before she had any obligation to. But what means even more to me is how she has poured her whole heart into it—not just the vision, but the clinicians, the people, the clients, and the care we give.

And I think that’s why the energy at CMC feels different.

When people walk through our doors, I want them to feel like they can exhale. Like they can breathe a little deeper. Like they’ve walked into a space that feels safe, warm, beautiful, and somehow familiar.

Yes, I’ve been intentional about the aesthetics and the way I’ve cultivated the space.

But the truth is, the people are what make CMC feel like home.

Every person here brings their whole heart to this place. And that kind of energy can’t be designed. It can only be cultivated by the people who show up every day and care deeply about what they do.

And now here we are—Q4.

A moment to slow down, look back, and really take in everything 2026 has brought us. The growth. The lessons. The people who have walked through our doors. The lives we’ve been lucky enough to be a small part of.

And then, we get to turn the page and dream even bigger.

We’re so excited for what’s ahead—not just for CMC, but for all of the people we’ll have the privilege of supporting in 2027.

Because building something meaningful is one thing.

Building it with people who feel like home is something else entirely. 🤍 by @bekindtothemind

Knowing when to take a break is part of the work. 😂

Therapists are human too. Sometimes we regulate, sometimes we rant, sometimes we lie upside down on the couch and stare at the ceiling.

The goal isn’t to never have a crash out. It’s knowing when to pause, reset, and come back. 🤍 by @bekindtothemind

Fitting that this is going up on a day off. Not a clinical list, just the actual, unglamorous things I do when I'm overwhelmed. What's one thing that grounds you? #groundingtechniques #realtalk #mentalhealthawareness #therapistlife #bekindtothemind by @bekindtothemind

The 30s are becoming my favorite era. 🤍

A few things I’m learning (and unlearning):

• Good enough is better than waiting for perfect.

• I can want more without deciding that what I have isn’t enough.

• I can be ambitious without making myself miserable.

• “I can handle it” and “I should handle it” are two completely different sentences.

• Motivation ain’t shit compared to momentum.

• Your body will whisper before it screams. I’m trying to get better at listening to the whisper.

• Therapy really is that big of a deal.

• Real plants are the aesthetic in a room. 🌿

• Releasing survival skills that you’ve outgrown is exactly the flex you think it is.

Still learning. Still unlearning. Still becoming.

And honestly? I think that’s what makes this decade so good. ✨ by @bekindtothemind

January 2nd.
The first “back to work” day.

In the past, a day like today would’ve been filled with frustration, self-criticism, and forcing productivity because that’s what I thought I was supposed to do.

But my body was clear.
It wanted warmth.
Light.
Gentle movement.
Slowness.
Inwardness.

Whether it’s emotional depletion from the holidays, waking up feeling run-down, or simply honoring that we are still very much in winter—my nervous system wasn’t asking for hustle. It was asking for care.

So I listened.

Red light therapy.
Hot tea.
A gentle walk for sunshine and circulation.
Working from home.
Rescheduling sessions.
Shifting some to telehealth.
Pivoting.

And I’m deeply grateful for clients who understand that honoring the body is part of the work—not a failure of it.

One thing I’m committed to in 2026 is this:
I don’t want to just talk about nervous system regulation, embodiment, and attunement—I want to live it. Even when no one’s watching. Especially when it’s inconvenient.

This isn’t a “look how evolved I am” moment.
It’s a milestone moment.

Because letting go of control, allowing flexibility, and trusting the flow of life doesn’t always feel empowering in the moment—but it creates so much more ease on the other side.

And ironically, on a day I once would’ve labeled as “unproductive,” I’m noticing the quiet wins that emerged.

Still learning.
Still practicing.
Still shifting.

✨POV: You just told your therapist you’re done settling… and meant it.

Boundaries are sexy. 🔥

I know, I know—when most people hear the word boundaries, they think of conflict, rejection, or shutting people out. But the truth? Saying no isn’t about pushing people away—it’s about creating the space for deeper, healthier connections.

Boundaries allow us to:
✨ Show up as our best selves in relationships
✨ Love freely without resentment
✨ Protect our energy and mental well-being
✨ Teach others how we want to be treated

When you set a boundary, you’re not being “difficult” or “selfish”—you’re being clear. And clarity in relationships? That’s where intimacy, trust, and respect truly grow.

So let’s talk: What’s a boundary you’ve set that made your relationships stronger? Drop it in the comments! ⬇️ by @bekindtothemind
