Finally got to fulfill the dream that's been in my head since I was a little girl: a trip to Greece 💙🤍

Oh yeah, I just graduated high school 🎓

Thank you everyone who has been there with me along the way, including family, friends, classmates and teachers. Each and every one of you have become a part of me, helping me grow and become the person I am today.

Think of it not as me leaving, but as me continuing on my journey. Never an ending, always a beginning. 💜

And after five years, I have performed in my final SCCYO concert. I am thankful for every person I've met because of the program, and I'm glad that I got to play in such a program. I branched out a lot more this year and made way more friends this year, some of whom I hope I continue to stay in contact with. I love all of you!!

Thank you, each of you. I'm so glad I got to be friends with each of you (or that I got to see you again, for some of you). Let's get together someday :) by @bella_kav

My last FZW concert was on May 12, which ended with me sobbing on the stage (to nobody's surprise, honestly).

Long sappy paragraph here:
Since before I came to the school district, I have been in orchestra, joining in 4th grade. I just thought it would be fun, so I signed up for it—I almost didn't do it actually, since I was worried about the registration dates. I moved to Ostmann around the end of the year, and I was allowed to join the orchestra club with the 5th graders. Over the years, my love of orchestra had waned. I had never been someone to stick to any one hobby at any point in time. But I stayed, and I am so glad that I did.

It is through orchestra that I met so many friends, some being people I think I'll keep talking to for a long time. I found my love of music—not just the violin, but how music utterly encapsulates and surrounds my being.

I don’t even think it's the fact that I won't be constantly playing in an orchestra anymore that made me cry so much. I think it's all the people I have to leave. Orchestra was really like another family for me, with Mr. Mieloch being the dad. It's nearly impossible to explain how important Mieloch is and has been to me. He has been a big supporter for me every year, especially this year. I put in a lot more work this year, staying after school nearly every day first semester to practice my violin. As things in my life shifted and grew in difficulty, orchestra stayed constant, and Mieloch was always there to lend a listening ear for my rants. I cannot thank him enough for that, and I hope to be able to come back and see him in the future.

To everyone that has supported me in orchestra throughout these 10 years, thank you. I'm sure my beginning years were not easy to listen to.

To my fellow orchestra seniors, thank you for bearing with me even though I'm probably one of the most annoying members of the orchestra that you're forced to put up with.

To my orchestra underclassmen, I know each of you are going to do so well. I'm sorry to those of you that I didn’t have a chance to play with, but I know you'll be wonderful. I plan to come and watch future concerts, so stay in contact!

Thank you, orchestra. by @bella_kav
