Making this post to help me remain grateful for my time with my daughter. It’s such an honor to be her father and if you know me, you know how much I’ve been checked in regardless of what I’ve been going through these past couple years.

Even though I’ve only had her 50/50 for the past two months, I have to express gratitude to her mother for allowing this while she keeps custody and takes child support. It’s better than just the weekends, which has been over a year.

This past two months have been a challenge and a blessing. From keeping my own fridge stocked and cooking more meals than eating out to packing lunches and doing the house while rebuilding my life and restructuring my business. I’m glad to be alive and to continue to face what’s ahead.

One month left of having a five year old… I’m so happy to have an adventure buddy and best pal for life. She sees me for me and I get another chance at unconditional love through her. Morning meditations, affirmations, weekly ice cream, no kindergarten homework, reading, chores and allowance, money management, outdoor time and spontaneous adventures.

Happy Almost Birthday

Just more happy to be here than ever lately. I love you so much by @beluealex

B-Day adventure week continued. Greenville did not disappoint. Ember loves going to places and learning about things I did as a kid growing up :) I remember when falls park opened!

Seriously tho, every interaction and place we went treated us with so much kindness and the weather was 🤌 play rehearsal in the park with dinner was a treat, big laughs and fully engaged.

We met some great people and enjoyed every moment!

@chefkobe.864 what a treat, keep living your dream man and showin’em how it’s done, BIG UPS!!

@the_waddymac pleasure man! Holler sometime if you come to Asheville :)

@hobby_connection top notch experience, this guys were super helpful and made the afternoon pop off!!

@grillmarks staff was super friendly. Firehouse burger 🔥 and shake to boot!!

I plan on being a local promoter as I’m dipping my toes back into social media productively.

More to come on the personal side to get folks caught up, just practicing consistent posting for now. by @beluealex

Words can’t express how our connection has deepened the past couple years. You’ve saved my life more than I care to admit. I’m grateful the apt is never truly empty.

This one definitely deserves a spot on the timeline. I didn’t know I needed an emotional support animal so bad… This is Ember‘s pet at daddy‘s house :-) celebrating 1.5 years old soon

We love her sooo, even though I keep feed bugs👀🐛🪳

OK I’m trying to turn a major corner and get out of victim thinking but I don’t think many understand what I’ve been going through for the past couple years

I mean, could you imagine leaving your partner of eight years and taking 100% custody while they are asking for help and trying to better themselves

I refuse to believe that my choices resulted in these consequences. I don’t want to battle anymore, but in order to see my child I must fight every day.

I wish there was a better way to show up and reach common ground for my daughter that both parties could agree.

I don’t aim to air my life on social media, I know there’s many that are going through way worse than what I am, but as the standard in our nation for how separation and custody is handled it’s extremely sad and hard
