It’s a moooovie! Cameron Bynum made a return to Minnesota for the first time since joining the Colts and got a very warm reception. Fun atmosphere at last Sunday’s Vikings game. by @ben_c_krause

6-0, enough said. #skol by @ben_c_krause

The @viktortheviking Mascot Game delivered the goods on Sunday. Don’t mess with the Loon! by @ben_c_krause

Gotta love that October sunlight at US Bank Stadium even if it was fleeting. Here is what I saw away from the game action last Sunday. by @ben_c_krause

In Will the Thrill we trust! The NFL’s leading scorer carried the Vikings to a 4-0 record on Sunday against the Dolphins. Here are my action photos I managed to extract from the game. #skol by @ben_c_krause

One of the things I’ve come to really appreciate over the years of photographing Vikings games is all the pageantry that happens at all of the games away from the game action. It’s so many people coming together to do something they genuinely enjoy and want to share with each other. It’s just fun to document joy. Last Sunday was another good time. by @ben_c_krause

What a way to start the season with a huge come-from-behind home opener win against our biggest rival! That was a fun one on Sunday. I’m especially happy that I was able to finally get a nice, close up Bank Vault photo too. Still feeling a little rusty in terms of creativity, but I was able to make the photos that counted when I needed them. We’re just getting started! #skol by @ben_c_krause

Are we really back? We’re so back! So many happy smiling faces to welcome a new season. Season 13 with the Vikings has arrived and the only home preseason game is in the books. Next home game counts! #skol by @ben_c_krause

Last Saturday I photographed the 2026 Midwest College Women’s Flag League Tournament. It was a fun event with tons of emotion and hard fought victories. Congratulations to the @csb_flagfb team! by @ben_c_krause

With his retirement official I wanted to take a look back at some of my favorite photos I made of @athielen19 during his time as a Viking going all the way back to 2014. What a story from undrafted free agent playing special teams to a captain of the team as a wide receiver! Adam is forever a Vikings legend without question. by @ben_c_krause

I was surprised this morning to be told that my photo of Aaron Jones and @viktortheviking doing a cartwheel won Special Merit in the American Football category for the World Sports Photography Awards. The contest covers the period from December 2024 through November 2025.

I’ll be honest I didn’t expect any recognition for any of the photos I submitted this year. I struggled to pick out photos I thought were worthy. For this particular photo I felt like other photographers at the game had actually captured the moment better than I did. Still it’s always nice to be recognized and I’m grateful for it. Congratulations to the photographers who placed and were also recognized for special merit! They were well deserving. by @ben_c_krause

It was the last game of the season, so I decided to get a little weird. I had literally never tried this technique before and didn’t even think about it until it was happening, but it’s kind of fun because you have no idea how it will turn out.

Plus I included some other normal photos I liked from the final game. The season was all over the place, but memorable as always. Thanks for riding along with my photos of my 12th season photographing Vikings football!! #skol by @ben_c_krause
