I couldn’t be more excited to announce my commitment to SCAD-Savannah to continue my academic and athletic career in 2027! First, I want to thank my family and coaches (Melissa McDaniel, Matt and Jane Taillon, Tamara and Roger Petrin) for helping shape me into the person and bowler I am today. Thank you for all the sacrifices, support, and encouragement you’ve given me along the way. Through every high and low, you’ve continued to believe in me and push me to become the best version of myself. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you, and I’m forever grateful for everything you’ve done for me! Secondly, I want to thank all of my friends who have been by my side. Looking back, I have nothing but amazing memories from all the tournaments we’ve competed in together. From the long weekends on the road to the laughs, competition, and friendships we’ve built along the way, you’ve made this journey so much more special. Finally, thank you to everyone who has been a part of my journey and helped me get to this point. It’s truly a dream come true to have the opportunity to attend SCAD, and to bowl for two AMAZING coaches (Coach Katie and Coach Benjy). Thank you for giving me this unbelievable opportunity. I’m beyond excited for these next few years and to represent SCAD Bowling! 🐝🐝 #feelthesting #scadbowling #mindsetgearambassador #stormnation #committed by @ben_linares19

New Equipment Post!! 1 1/2 new bowling balls??👀 Sorry for the very late post but it is finally here. A few weeks ago I got my @stormproducts CONCEPT plugged and redrilled and I got my @900.global Honey Badger U78 drilled! I was very excited to throw these new toys and they most definitely have not disappointed me! I got to bowl on a broken down mystery short pattern today and there first 2 videos are with the Honey Badger, and the second 2 videos are with the CONCEPT! The CONCEPT was a slight change but has made all the difference with a more responsive backend motion, and the Honey Badger is very early but not to aggressive so it gets through the oil extremely well. I have been working on some new things these past few weeks… Bowling is going to slow down for the next few weeks as my senior year starts for me, but I will continue to work on the game! Very big thank you to Matt Taillon at @sparepartsproshop for drilling these 2 for me, @mymindsetgear for helping me along this journey, and @stormproducts for making the best equipment in the game! Jr. Gold 2026 Recap! Long post warning… I will start off by saying that performance wise, this was my best Jr. Gold yet. My spare shooting was extremely well this week, my attitude for the most part was strong, and I had so much fun competing! I saw so many friends this week in lovely Minnesota, and to compete with them was even more special. As always, there are some things to take away. Starting the block on day 3, I pulled something in my lower back and I couldn’t figure out the cause for it. The pain was not very present while I was bowling which was strange. Towards the end of advancers round, the pain started to be more aggravating, and this time, while I was bowling which limited my performance a lot. I tried to ignore the pain as much as possible and to keep pushing forward. Nonetheless, I made it all the way to final advancers finishing the tournament at +235 for 26 games, and finished 28/707 bowlers in the U16 boys division! My goal going into this years Jr. Gold was to make match play which I had never made before. After the 4 days of qualifying, I was right there in the top 16, but after the advancer rounds, I had fallen to 28th. I was disappointed in how I had finished the tournament, but it would not be fair to judge a week long tournament by the ending, so overall, I am extremely proud and happy with how I placed and performed. I now know what I can accomplish in bowling, and I will keep improving and working hard, as I already have next years goals in mind! (One of the best thing happened at Jr. Gold this year! Stay tuned…) Bowling balls used: @stormproducts ION MAX @rotogripbowling Attention Star S2🐐 @stormproducts IQ 78U 16lb @stormproducts CONCEPT Special shoutout to @melango99 for being there by my side every step of the way, thank you to @mymindsetgear for supporting me throughout the week and for helping me along this journey, Matt and Jane Taillon for all their support always, and @stormproducts for making the greatest equipment in the sport! #stormbowling #storm #stormnation #iwanttogotodisneyworld #bowling by @ben_linares19
Youth Open Post! A bit late to the post but it’s here. I bowled singles/doubles on Thursday with @litt_caleblogtosser. Did not bowl good for doubles because my ball reaction was very inconsistent from lane to lane, and splits also really hurt me, but then I remembered how to throw a bowling ball for singles and ended up going +89 for singles. The next day was teams with @cameron_bennett300, @litt_caleblogtosser, and @donaven.kline. We all bowled very well and had lots of fun, but came up just short of first place for the day. We were in 2nd, but with other teams bowling, anything could happen. Still, we bowled very well and had lots of fun doing so. Shoutout to @mymindsetgear for helping me along this journey, @stormproducts for making the best equipment, and @dkjproshop for sponsoring us and supporting this team! @rotogripbowling attention star s2 did most of the work💪 Wishing everyone good luck for these next 4 days! #stormnation⚡️ #stormbowling #usbc #storm #disneyworld by @ben_linares19
Practice Day🔥 Came to the lanes pretty early so I got to bowl on the leftovers from last nights sport league. Pretty sure it is some short pattern, flatter and more volume. I decided to get some shots with the @stormproducts CONCEPT and I forgot how good this ball really is. This ball is so versatile with surface changes. When I need to play the gutter more, I will keep the ball a bit more lane shined, but when I need to play inside, I might surface the ball to a lower grit and slow my ball speed down. I am pretty confident this ball will be in the bag for Jr. Gold! Physical game and Mental game is feeling great at the moment! Just a few more days until we leave for Minneapolis! Hope to see lots of people there👀! Shoutout to @stormproducts for making the best equipment in the game, and shoutout to @mymindsetgear for helping me along the journey! Make sure to check out both booths at the Trade-show! Sorry the first clip is a bit laggy! #stormbowling #stormproducts #stormnation #riseabovepressure #ilovedisneyworld by @ben_linares19

SYC Connecticut 6th Place Finish! Traveled up to Connecticut this past weekend to compete in the SYC and came away with my best SYC performance. I’m very pleased with how I threw the ball and with converting the majority of my spares throughout the tournament. The patterns were challenging, but I stayed patient and worked through them, finishing at +264 overall and earning a 6th-place finish in the U18 Boys division. As always, it was great catching up with friends from across the country and meeting some new ones along the way. Looking forward to building on this performance in the tournaments ahead! Practice today with the @stormproducts BIONIC🧬 Absolutely love this ball! Very strong but very smooth and controllable. Pretty much checks all of the boxes for what an amazing ball should be! I will be using this ball a lot moving forward in the next few tournaments! Also decided to add a 3-step clip in the post👀 Let’s keep putting in work!💪 Layout: 4- 1/2 x 4 x 5 Thank you to @aaronbbowling for being my camera man today. And thank you to @taylorsmarkproshop for drilling all of my equipment! Shoutout to @mymindsetgear for helping me along this journey, and @stormproducts for making the best equipment out there! #stormnation #stormbowling #riseabovepressure #storm #thriller by @ben_linares19
