My identity crisis is officially over, thanks to this email 👀

When you don’t have a race in the calendar, I find it so much harder to stay motivated. There’s no real date to work towards, no finish line to visualise and nothing quite set in stone to keep you accountable.

Well, that changes now 🥹

I’M GOING TO SYDNEY!

My first ever World Marathon Major, and I genuinely couldn’t be more excited.

I can’t wait to savour every minute of the build-up, put in the work, chase goal and, most importantly, enjoy the entire journey along the way.

Look out @sydney_marathon @asicsaustralia… you better lock up all your METASPEEDs because we’re coming for them 😂👀 by @benwallisruns

Recovery is just as important as the work you put in 👊

As I build back towards my next running goals, the Frontier X3 from @fourth_frontier has been a handy addition to my training, helping me understand how my body is responding beyond just pace and distance.

If you’re keen to check it out, you can get 30% OFF the Frontier X3 using my code:

Tips for small creators to help secure collabs with big brands.

In my last race, I wore a completely gifted kit from Asics and Oakley, the best part is, I have under 3K followers.

Bruce is over it…

Someone asked me, “Are you a glass half empty or half full kind of person?”

I said, “I’m just happy there’s water in the glass”

Goals can be very helpful for lots of things, measuring your self worth against them is not one of those things, especially when you fall short.

Here a little reminder to celebrate yourself for all the cool things that happened, whether you achieved your goal or not.

A little pre-run ritual with @beforeyouspeakcoffee

OG Performance Coffee has been part of my routine for a while now. Always good to have a fresh supply!

Safe to say this felt like Christmas morning 😂🎄

Very excited to share that I’ve officially joined the @scienceinsportau team as an ambassador!

Fuel is a huge part of the journey as I continue chasing my running goals, and I’m stoked to have SiS in my corner for what’s ahead. 🏃‍♂️

Bruce and Collin were clearly hoping there was something in the box for them too… 🐕🦮

Plenty more to come. Let’s get to work! 🤝

Friday rant… 🗣️

You’ll never know your full potential. But you can spend your life closing the gap between who you are and who you could become.

Don’t let the fear of failure stop you from finding out.

Because by never trying, you’ve already lost.

You can’t win if you’re not willing to fail. 👊

Months of training, early mornings and tough kilometres no longer need to be forgotten🏅

Your marathon medal represents so much more than 42.2km. It’s a reminder of everything it took to get there.

So instead of leaving it in a drawer, I’ve turned mine into something I can proudly display and look back on for years to come.

Love how easy @markyour.moment makes it to create a personalised display at home, giving your race day memories the place they deserve.

Because the medal is great, but the story behind it is what makes it special. 🤍

Sometimes I look back at old photos and barely recognise the person looking back at me.

Not just because of how I looked, but because of how I felt.

I was anxious, constantly overthinking, living in fear and trying to figure out where I fit in.

For so long, I thought belonging meant changing who I was to fit in with everyone else.

It wasn’t until I stopped trying to be someone I wasn’t and started accepting myself for who I am that I finally found it.

Looking back, I think I was so caught up trying to become someone I thought I needed to be that I never gave myself the chance to accept who I already was 🤍 by @benwallisruns

Going into SHAKA24, I thought the biggest challenge would be staying on my feet for 24 hours. Turns out, there was a bit more to learn than that 😂

It reminded me how easy it is to underestimate ourselves, how important the people around us are, and that sometimes you have to eat even when the thought of food makes you feel sick.

Not everything goes to plan, and not every experience needs to be a perfect success to teach you something.

I’m still figuring plenty of things out myself, but that’s part of the fun. Hopefully sharing the highs, lows and lessons along the way helps you take something away for your own journey too ❤️🤙
