COMMITTED. Patrick Sarnicola → Merrimack College 🥍 @btb_2028_black_

Patrick has experienced the ups and downs, faced the challenges, and kept putting in the work. That commitment has earned him a well-deserved opportunity to play Division I lacrosse.

As his coach, I’ve watched him grow into a player we can consistently count on—goals, assists, and big plays when we need them. His production reflects the work he puts in and the standards he holds himself to.

What makes Patrick special goes beyond lacrosse. He’s a great person whose energy and charisma lift our team and stay with him wherever he goes.

Patrick, I’m extremely proud of you, your growth, and everything you’ve earned. Congratulations on your commitment to Merrimack. The entire BTB family is behind you.

Create Greatness.

👻🎃2026 Girls Halloween Morning was flat out fun!👻🎃 by @bethebestli

Stony Brook ‘32.

I am excited to announce my commitment to Stony Brook University to continue my athletic and academic career.

I would like to start off by thanking my parents for everything they have done for me. I wouldn’t be in the position I am today without all of the sacrifices they have made for me, all those long endless drives to tournaments and showcases I am forever grateful for, and thank you supporting and encouraging me every step of the way.I would also like to specifically thank my grandfather for his constant support. Whether it was a practice I needed to get to or an important game I had, he always made it possible for me to be there and was there to support me.

I also want to thank all of my coaches at Be the Best @bethebestli and at Smithtown East @laxeast — Coach Dan, Coach T, Coach Pete, Coach Huff, and Coach McFarlan- for giving me a place to maximize my potential and for being such a big part of my recruiting process and helping me get to where I am today I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for there guidance .I also want to thank all of my BTB and Smithtown East teammates for making my years with them as fun and enjoyable as possible. I am grateful for every single one of you and all of the memories we have made together.

A huge thank you to @brazlax_ _ and Ben and Golden at @peak.ts .ts for helping me improve my skills both on and off the field and for helping me become a better player and person every time I stepped into their facilities.

Finally, I would like to thank Coach Gilardi, Coach Germain, and Coach Chanenchuk at Stony Brook for believing in me and giving me this unbelievable opportunity to continue playing at the highest level.

I am extremely grateful for everyone who has helped me along this journey, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Congratulations to Danny Ferrizz, BTB 2028 Black defender, on his commitment to play Division I lacrosse at Long Island University! 🦈

A takeaway defender who makes his matchup earn every possession, Danny brings pressure, confidence, and the ability to turn defense into offense. LIU is getting a competitor who can change a game with his stick.

Danny, I’m proud of you and grateful for everything you’ve contributed to BTB. Thank you for trusting us with your development and representing this program. Watching you earn this opportunity means a lot to me as your coach.

Congratulations to Danny and the Ferrizz family. Looking forward to watching you compete as a Shark!
