Squeaky yarn (or, 100% wool yarn in very humid sea air) by @bexknit.s
Spring 🌷🌱🐝 I've finished exactly 1-2 sweaters thus far this year and done a whole lotta gardening and flower arranging and so on and so forth. We have 100s of plants that require daily attention, and it's hard to sit and knit when I can see my prized coneflower has powdery mildew, those snapdragons need deadheading, and goddamnit a critter ate the marigold last night. It's such a lovely thing, ain't it, engaging in creation? by @bexknit.s

Just now realizing that I finished this in APRIL and have not shown it off on the grid yet. This is probablyyyyy the best sweater I've knitted in terms of fit, tension and I didn't jack anything up. 10/10 fall wardrobe piece 🎃🍂👻 #knitting #knittersgonnaknit #lupinsweater by @bexknit.s

Here is the project that took me three months and made me hate knitting. And then the project I started and completed during my week off so I wouldn't jump off the deep end. It worked, and now I am actually excited to be knitting SO MANY THINGS in the coming months. Note to self: don't bring your toxic habit of never giving up on something even if you hate it to your hobbies. That's how you end up with a law degree AND a saggy button-down. by @bexknit.s
First college football Saturday of the year + knitting + fall weather + brunch at home with close friends is quite possibly the closest I can get to heaven here on earth. I just finished probably the least satisfying knitting project I've ever undertaken (see previous post). I am a process knitter. I love (almost) every second I spend knitting. And I hated knitting that stupid button down, and couldn't wait to be done (which ofc took forever). Now, I have this gorgeous tank on my needles (pictured here). I'm flying through it and I'll be sad when I finally bind her off. Cheers to a swell day and projects that feed the soul. #hightimetank #knitting #knitstagram by @bexknit.s
The dog days of summer. I have been working on this top for what feels like an eternity (since May). When will I finish this goddamn fingering weight silk top? When will it stop being so freaking hot? Only time will tell. by @bexknit.s
