The First Glance

After a 450km drive, my heart was pounding. I pulled up at a place where the world could pass by while you listen to the waves crash and enjoy the freshest of air, and there she was. Our first meeting. I didn’t need a word from her; I knew we had chemistry within seconds.

She is a little older than me, of course, age is just a number when you’ve been pampered like a queen. She looks absolutely stunning. Not a single person walks past her without turning their head for a second look.

She has only ever been in one serious relationship since 1973. In the 90s, she wisely retreated from the chaotic world for a much quieter, more serene life. The years went on with Basil, who loves her and has treated her like royalty. Now, at 81 years old, Basil wants to ensure she continues to get the treatment she deserves.

So, we amicably agreed. I am stepping in to support her excessive—and rather expensive—drinking habit when she goes out, and to provide the luxury pampering she needs to keep that youthful beauty intact.

Welcome home, darling😉

where do we go when we leave this world,
How can someone who filled your life suddenly be gone?
No more chats, or enjoyed silence.
Just the echo of the love they left behind. I know you are everywhere, in the moonlight tonight, in the wind on my face, in the damp air on my skin, I know now you are always by my side and with me no matter where I travel. ❤️ by @bhp1089

Canola crop flowering about 25km west of Dowerin. Such a pretty picture opportunity with the old and abandoned farm house sitting there just off the road. #dowerin #dowerinfielddays #roadtrips by @bhp1089

I have spent a shit load of hours on and off over the last few weeks cleaning the inside and turned it from a dust bowl into a respectable office and still some things need to go back too but need keep moving forward for now!! Replaced broken plastics, compartment lids and drivers door trim with sourced second hand parts and it has come up pretty good. Now onto the next phase 😁! #tippertruck #tippertrucks #caterpillarwrenching🔧 #mitsubishitruck by @bhp1089
