BHPD night watch officers arrested three suspects following reckless driving and dangerous motorcycle stunts on city streets. Two motorcyclists and the driver of a follow vehicle were arrested, and two vehicles were impounded. Friendly reminder: Relentless police follow-up + technology = arrests. Dangerous stunts have consequences. Do that in Beverly Hills, and you’ll end up in jail and your vehicle will be impounded. #beverlyhillscops #beverlyhillspd #joinbhpd by @bhpd_90210
Earlier today (11/2), Chief Max Subin welcomed two new members of the Beverly Hills Police Department: a lateral police officer from LAX PD and an entry-level communications dispatcher. Welcome to the 90210! 🌴 joinbhpd.org #beverlyhillscops #beverlyhillspd #joinbhpd by @bhpd_90210
A huge congratulations to BHPD’s Super Troopers on winning the 2026 City of Beverly Hills Adult Softball League Championship! After going 0-10 last season (albeit against experienced recreational softball teams 🫢), the Super Troopers turned things around this year, competing in a co-ed league alongside teams representing hotels in Beverly Hills and surrounding areas. The team made it all the way to the championship game against the FSLA (Four Seasons Hotel) Doheny Legends on October 8. Despite trailing 7-1 early in the game, the Super Troopers fought back to pull off an exciting 15-10 victory and take home the championship title! A few days later, two BHPD officers competed with 172 Combo at the Police Softball World Series in Las Vegas on October 11. Playing alongside fellow law enforcement personnel from Downey PD, LAPD, LASD, South Gate PD, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, and Tempe Police Department, the team tied for 5th place out of 23 Major Division teams. A total of 100 teams participated in the tournament. Congratulations to the Super Troopers and 172 Combo! 👏 #supertroopers90210 #beverlyhillscops #policesoftball by @bhpd_90210
BHPD and @beverlyhillsunified continue to work together to promote a safe and enjoyable Halloween for our students, families, and community. As Halloween approaches, we remind everyone that Silly String, shaving cream or gel, and hair removal products are prohibited in public from 6 a.m. on October 31 through 6 a.m. on November 1. Temporary parking restrictions will also be in effect on designated residential streets bordering West Hollywood from 4 p.m. on October 31 through 2:30 a.m. on November 1. Please follow all posted parking signs and plan accordingly. BHPD will have additional officers working on Halloween to help keep everyone safe. Whether you’re trick-or-treating or heading out for the evening, please stay alert, watch for pedestrians, respect surrounding neighborhoods, and plan for a sober ride home. Let’s work together to keep Halloween safe and enjoyable for everyone. ### All BHPD media releases can be found at beverlyhills.org/pdmediareleases #beverlyhills #halloween90210 by @bhpd_90210
For the second year, the @bhpd_90210 and @beverlyhillsunified have partnered to provide BHUSD families with a fun, memorable, and safe Halloween experience. Last night (10/28), we welcomed families to our annual Safe Trick-or-Treat with the Police event. Invitations were sent to BHUSD parents, and within just 12 hours, we reached capacity with RSVPs for 500 guests. We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support that helped bring this event together, from personnel across BHPD’s bureaus and units to our Beverly Hills firefighters and the BHUSD community. This collaboration is a great example of the City’s three pillars, Police, Fire, and Schools, coming together to support our kids and create lasting memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s event another successful celebration! 🎃👻 #beverlyhillscops #halloween 🚨 Special shoutout to Sgt. Alatorre, Ofc. GM, BHPD’s Community Relations Unit, and BHUSD’s PIO, for organizing this event for the kids. Until next year! Chief Max Subin and Heather Subin 🙌 Thank you for joining us @beverlyhillsfd / @beverlyhillsfirefighters! Thank you @maggies for the hot chocolate and treats! ☕️ BHFD even brought their mascot Sparky! @beverlyhillsfd To all the kids (and some parents) who got scared at the haunted house: See? The scare actors were just some of BHPD’s finest! 👻🫶 @beverlyhillspoliceofficersfund by @bhpd_90210
You may have noticed a little more pink around Beverly Hills this October. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, @beverlyshieldauto generously wrapped one of our School Resource Officer (SRO) vehicles and a police motorcycle (not pictured) to help raise awareness and show support for those affected by breast cancer. So if you spot them around the city, snap a photo and tag us. We also still have a limited selection of BHPD Pink Patch Project merchandise available, with proceeds supporting breast cancer research. To purchase, email Community Relations Unit Sergeant Alatorre at aalatorre@beverlyhills.org. #pinkpatch90210 #pinkpatchproject #beverlyhillscops by @bhpd_90210

“He told me, ‘You don’t remember me, but about 10 years ago, you and your partner put me in prison. I read on Instagram that you’re Chief, and I wanted to say congratulations,” @bhpd_90210 Chief Max Subin recalls. “He said to me, ‘You always treated me with respect and were always very nice.'” Read the story at https://behindthebadge.com/ Learn more at https://joinbhpd.org/ by @bhpd_90210

Relentless police follow-up + technology = an arrest. In July, a driver was captured on City CCTV cameras driving a vehicle recklessly and at dangerous speeds, putting others and their property at risk. A Beverly Hills police officer conducted an extensive follow-up investigation, using technology, the Real Time Watch Center (RTWC), and investigative resources to identify the driver and build the case. The investigation ultimately led to an arrest warrant for the driver and a court order authorizing the vehicle’s 30-day impoundment. The officer continued pursuing the case and recently located both the driver and the vehicle. The driver was arrested on the outstanding warrant, and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days. Reckless driving has consequences. We will continue using every available resource to proactively address dangerous driving and keep Beverly Hills safe. #beverlyhills #beverlyhillscops #dontdreamitsover❤️‍🩹 by @bhpd_90210
This National Forensic Science Week, we recognize the dedicated team whose work plays an important role in BHPD investigations. Our forensic team includes the Property & Crime Lab Manager, Senior Forensic Specialists, and Forensic Volunteers. They work behind the scenes, but their results speak for themselves. Their work takes expertise, persistence, and incredible attention to detail. They provide critical leads for our investigators, answers for victims and families, and help bring cases to resolution. This week, we’re proud to recognize our forensic team for the outstanding work they do every day. #nationalforensicscienceweek #beverlyhillspd #forensicscience by @bhpd_90210
Please join us in congratulating Kevin M. Orth on his promotion to Captain, effective September 19. Captain Orth’s BHPD career spans 20 years, beginning as a Police Cadet in 2006. Since then, he has served throughout the Department in a wide range of operational and leadership roles, most recently as Executive Officer in the Office of the Chief. As Captain, he will lead the Administrative Services Division, overseeing Personnel & Training, Records, Communications, and the Department’s Budget Team. Congratulations, Captain Orth, on this well-earned promotion and the next chapter of your service to BHPD and the Beverly Hills community. #beverlyhillscops #beverlyhillspd by @bhpd_90210
