IBIZA DEBUT IBIZA DEBUT IBIZA DEBUT

My first time in Ibiza and my expectations were blown out of the water. I want to thank @ibizastardustradio for this Resident Party- and being able to meet all these DJ's with their friends and families just enjoying music and life to the max is really what this is all about. Seeing people go from strangers to family just through music is a feeling I'll always cherish!

Now time to wait for the recorded footage so I can count how many times I did hair flips/touched my hair.

Your next opportunity could be in the room with you.

Music can be a pretty solitary pursuit. Hours in the studio, working on tracks, playing sets, sending demos and hoping the right people hear what you’re doing.

But sometimes, the most valuable thing you can do is step away from the laptop, get out of your usual routine and spend time with people who understand the same world you’re trying to navigate.

That’s what evenings like this are about. Bringing Manchester DJs together, sharing experiences, making connections and creating opportunities that might never happen if we all stay in our own corners.

Our Manchester DJs Instagram group is now growing towards 2,000 members, which is brilliant to see. The aim has always been to bring people together, help DJs connect and make the Manchester scene a more supportive place to be part of.

You never know who you’ll meet, what conversation you’ll have, or where a simple introduction might lead. And even if nothing comes of it professionally, being around people who share your passion is never time wasted.

The scene is stronger when we support each other, share opportunities and open doors for one another.

Were you there? Drop a comment and let us know.

Haven’t made it along yet but would like to come to the next one? Say so in the comments. And if you’re a Manchester DJ who hasn’t joined the group yet, get involved.

Let’s get more of Manchester’s DJs in the same room. The more we connect, the stronger the scene becomes. by @bigcola.official
