Spiritual Death is "Separation"

Except a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains single, alone and unfruitful.

Our prayer must remain, HolySpirit, keep working on me... pruning all this flesh till all that's left is Jesus.

I still have faith for better Nigeria. 🇳🇬

66 years after independence, our journey has been anything but simple. We have known progress and disappointment, celebrated victories and lived through moments that tested our belief in what this country can become.

But our present reality does not have to be the final definition of our future.

A better Nigeria will require people who are still willing to build, create, teach, serve, solve problems and use what they have been given to make their corner of this country better.

Hope is not pretending that the problems don’t exist. It is refusing to believe that the problems are all that can exist.

There is still work to do.
There is still a generation with something to offer.
There are still stories yet to be written.

And there is still reason to believe that a greater Nigeria is possible.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria. 🇳🇬

"The thief does not come except to steal, to kill and to destroy..."

This is how NKJV puts John 10:10

Let me not take your time this morning, I'll go straight to the point;

Be glad when you go through challenges orchestrated by darkness. Conversely, be worried when you find yourself living a comfortable life with no sense of urgency, no ongoing task for God, no Kingdom vision sitting heavy on your shoulders, no burden on your heart, no motivation to pray for hours, nothing...just a cool comfortable life - wake up, work, make money, spend on yourself and loved ones, go to church, repeat.

If you are not constantly colliding with the devil as you lead your life, then you're both probably going in the same direction. That's not a good thing oh.

Ask God to give you his burden.
Ask God to tell you why you are here at this time.
Ask him what he needs you to do with what you have in your hands.

Don't sit pretty, waiting for the resurrection morning. We are not chasing heaven at last, we are enforcing heaven here.

Don't be afraid of the thief coming. Victory is sure. In fact, we war from victory. Jesus has overcome the world, including the darkness therein. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. So fight with no fear, engage darkness with boldness. You are not trying to win, you have already won.

Challenges are common to Champions.

Good morning.
Please pray with this song on your way to work.

One Sunday a while back, I stepped off stage after a ministration.

My Pastor spoke into my ear, "that was powerful, the anointing is there, the calling is clear, what is left is yielding."

That statement was not just for talk. It was wise counsel from a man of the spirit.

Yielding is not a one time thing, it's not a switch you out on. As we are humans "being", we must be daily yielding. The world will always compel the continual flow of flesh and carnality from us if we do not actively yield our members and minds to the Holy Spirit.

So I ask him as often as I can
"Wear me like a glove, adorn me like a garment. Let me hands be your hands, let's me feet be your feet, let my tongue be yours and let my eyes be shut, that I may go only where you go, do only what you do and speak only what you speak."

You should try it.
You've been in control of your life all this while, I promise you, if you let God run it completely, you'll be grateful in the end.

Good morning.
Please pray with this song on your way to work.

NYSC - NCCF

That was where I hear the words and melodies that compelled my total dedication.

I yielded.

I chose to be a music minister and not just a music artiste alone. If I had chosen the later, it would have been all good - I good move for me - a good move for anyone with the skill.

But these words wouldn't let me rest till I chose the sacred path. So I went to do my Masters so I wouldn't have to feel like I've sold my soul as a mainstream music artiste or I'm machandising the gospel as a gospel music artiste.

I'm sold out to the Kingdom.
I pray you sing along and mean it.

Thank you Mum.

Before the event even started, I had received a bountiful outpouring from the Mummy of my home church Mrs Nkoyo Rapu @conversationwithmrsr

So during the event, I was, like many other music ministers do, encouraging the crowd to participate actively in worship, but somewhere in my mind I was saying

"you guys better worship oh, now's your chance. I've already gotten an overflow before the opening prayer. Don't wait for me"

Mummy Rapu prayed her heart out over me, my wife, my ministry and more. I'm still soaking it all in ma, even now.

I'm filled with gratitude.

PS: go check out her beautiful song where she featured yours truly, "Apple of God's Eyes". Available everywhere you get your music.
