POSTS STORIES REELS
8 FEET WIDE. 6 FEET TALL. An absolute force of a painting. “Spit Stomp” by @tyinthewild Two individual canvases that come together to create one monumental work of art — or stand entirely on their own. The ENERGY in this piece. The movement. The layers upon layers of texture, materials, and color. Soft blush and sun-washed peach collide with burnt orange, earthy rust, and dramatic charcoal blacks. Every stroke adds another dimension, another layer of movement, another piece of the story. There’s something so powerful about the contrast between the softness of the palette and the raw, untamed energy of the cowboy. A larger-than-life original by Ty Hays. One statement piece. Two individual works. Endless possibilities. by @bighatmagic

Turns out, Round Top really IS all sunshine & rainbows. A little vintage, a lot of magic, and absolutely no such thing as too much of a good time. Where we’re shopping The Horseshoe - say hi! we’re here!! Marburger The Compound Blue Hills Market Hill Excess Cisco Village The Porch Bader Ranch Warrenton Bar W Zapp Hall Y Station The roadside fields you stumble upon along the way Grab a bite Lulu’s Royers Round Top Café Mandito’s Boon & Co. The Garden Company Duo at Market Hill La Petite Dame Take it easy✨ Ellis Motel Prost Wine Bar The Stone Cellar Il Cuculo at Hotel Lulu Round Top Brewing Bader Ranch Boon & Co. Our biggest advice? Don’t overplan it. Take the back roads, talk to strangers, buy the thing you can’t stop thinking about, stay for one more drink, and let Round Top do its thing. Because sometimes life really is all sunshine & rainbows. Especially in Texas. there’s something about discovering an artist whose work makes you stop in your tracks @tyinthewild 🫶🏽 an entirely new collection of original Ty Hays artwork has landed in Round Top, and watching people experience these pieces in person has been one of our favorite parts of the show. they are finding homes fast but we still have a gorgeous series that is making their way out to our walls. the textures, the movement, the stories behind every piece. photos just don’t do them justice. come find your forever piece. October 15–31 at The Horseshoe, directly across from Marburger. and fair warning, you might leave with more than you came for. xx by @bighatmagic
If this is your vibe 🐎 we can’t wait to see you! Visit us in Round Top, Texas to see the new @tyinthewild series, Western Depth. by @bighatmagic
round top is basically the shopping olympics and if you’ve ever spent 10 hours walking through fields, digging through vintage treasures, drinking margaritas and somehow coming home with a 200-pound piece of furniture, you get it. so let’s talk about what we’re wearing because there’s absolutely an art to dressing for round top but my biggest advice is pack less because you’ll find a new fit every hour 🤠 the hat: nonnegotiable. the texas sun is no joke. a good wide brim is your best friend. bonus points if it’s a teressa foglia. the outfit: layers, layers, layers. chilly mornings, HOT afternoons and cooler evenings. lightweight denim, linen, vintage tees and oversized button-downs. nothing too precious. the shoes: broken-in cowboy boots or comfortable sneakers. absolutely do not debut new boots at round top. you’ll regret it by lunch. the bag: crossbody and hands-free. you need both hands for vintage treasures and margaritas. what’s inside: * sunscreen + SPF lip balm * sunglasses * portable charger * cash for the fields * measuring tape * room measurements + photos * hair clip * hand sanitizer * electrolytes + water * extra tote for unexpected finds a few tricks we’ve learned: take photos of vendor booths before walking away. finding them again is an olympic event of its own. ask about pricing! negotiating is fine but yes means yes and no means no😂 just be kind. measure your doorways before buying furniture. trust us. bring a big car or have a shipping plan. you WILL convince yourself you need a 9-foot antique table. start early, stay hydrated, eat something substantial and never underestimate a midafternoon margarita. and finally, don’t overplan it. the best round top finds are usually the things you weren’t looking for. save this for your next trip and send it to your shopping partner. see you in the fields! round top fall show | october 15–31 teressa foglia + ty hays at the horseshoe directly across from marburger by @bighatmagic
