Hey everybody; Braeden and Porter want to take a few minutes to thank everyone who came to Wild West Truck Fest day 1. We appreciate all of you. To address the elephant in the room, no BURN OUT STRIP!! We had made every arrangement (legal & safety) to have a Burn Out strip. We complied with all the safety stipulations laid out by County of West Grey in our signed contract, including concrete blocks, fencing and fire extinguishers. Not an inexpensive proposition to say the least. However, despite our signed contract and safety stipulations being met, the County of West Grey decided to shut us down at the very last moment by sending 2 very nice police officers to break the bad news. To be clear the officers were not responsible for shutting us down, it was the County of West Grey. We attempted to reach the individual responsible for this action but were told they refused to release their name or contact info. (We were beyond frustrated & upset). Given our due diligence with regards to safety and legality, we are at a loss for the County of West Grey's actions. We want to sincerely apologize to our vendors and patrons alike & appreciate everyone who came, enjoyed themselves & stayed with us! Next year We hope to make the Wild West Truck Fest bigger, better, smellier & louder somewhere else . Thank you again! So grateful for your understanding & continued support! Hope to see you for day 2!! by @bigredsix.6_2.0

🚨 WILD WEST TRUCK FEST — LOCATION UPDATE 🚨 Due to a workplace fatality, we have been forced to change the location of this year’s event. Our thoughts and condolences are with everyone affected. ❤️ With the location change, the burnout pad will be smaller this year, but let us make one thing VERY clear… 🔥 BURNOUTS ARE STILL HAPPENING! 🔥💨 We know this isn’t what we originally planned, but we’re going to make it up to everyone. Next year, we’re coming back with a MUCH BIGGER burnout pad AND a walk-out spot to make up for it. 🏁🔥 This year might look a little different, but we’re still bringing you one hell of a show to remember. Smaller pad this year. WAY bigger plans for next year. 🤠 WILD WEST IS STILL GETTING ROWDY! 💨🔥 #WildWestTruckFest #Burnout #TruckFest #DieselTrucks #TruckLife OntarioTrucks GettingRowdy by @bigredsix.6_2.0
