Almas en Caravana went downtown. πŸ’€πŸ§‘ One of our two DΓa de los Muertos art cars is parked in the lobby of @cbaldwinhotel with a full altar built around it by Iris and Lety: marigolds, monarchs, papel picado, candles, pan de muerto and the photos of the people and pets we’re remembering. The car’s trunk is an ofrenda of its own, and the altar picks up where it leaves off. On view through Nov. 9, free, any time the lobby is open. πŸ•―οΈ Altar by @eyeris428 and @Lsantos6. Art car by @jlopez627_, from the Almas en Caravana series. Thank you, #cbaldwinhotel, for giving it a home this week, and for putting a night at the hotel in the Mural Quest grand prize drawing. Special Thanks to @mi.costenita for sponsoring the art car πŸš—πŸŽ¨ #BigWallsBigDreams #BWBD2026 #DiaDeLosMuertos #DowntownHouston by @bigwallsbigdreams
