I’ve spent the last month recovering from an injury after falling out of an uber (classic) and I’ve been doing lots of thinking (also classic) 🤪 Now that the pains worn off, I’ve put pen to paper about the most toxic relationship I’ve ever had. The perfect post to revive my substack after a long hiatus 🫶🏼 Link in bio and stories as per!!!! 💖

I’ve made the scariest decision I’ve made in recent memory. After 7 years spent living in this magical beast of a city, I’ll be moving back home to Sydney in a month. I honestly can’t believe it 🤪

I have so much to say about this bloody wild place I’ve called home for all of these years but that will come later. Right now I’m going to soak up every last second and spiral about whether this is the craziest (or stupidest) decision I’ve ever made. I love London!!! But I also know when to listen to my gut (earlier this year a fortune teller told me I need to do this more often… a story for another time)

In a dream world I’d live here forever, only if I earnt more money and my family wasn’t 10 million miles away. And that will never happen! I’m going to miss this place forever 💖💞

For days now, my dreams have been haunted by London 👻 It was time for me to go… but I miss my life in the big smoke - and the people in it! 💘

@lilyallen’s West End Girl show is seriously hypnotising, a true art show!

What a busy first few weeks!!! And I wouldn’t bloody change a thing. Without sounding too saccharine, it is a joy to speak to so many Aussie icons about the things they love 💕

Apols if you don’t hear from me this weekend. I will be sleeping

On Saturday me and my closest Sydney gals celebrated my 32nd birthday 💘 The dress code was Sex and the City because Carrie Bradshaw was that age in the first season.

A reminder that your life isn’t over when you’re in your 30s!!! It’s only just beginning. In fact, you can still be wild and rambunctious - but the hangover will just be (a lot) worse 🥂

My first birthday home since 2019!!! I thought I’d have something really profound to say but the older I get the less and less my birthday feels like anything important 😂 but how nice to be able to spend it with my brother, my parents and Phoenix 💘 (all vegan, always!!!!)

First week at the new job and straight to the Sense and Sensibility red carpet!! And YES @daisyedgarjones is as eloquent and beautiful in real life as you’d imagine. As is @esme_creedmiles! (Double barrelled last names unite!)

I was lucky enough to go to a screening of the new adaption earlier this week. Not only is it beautifully shot, but its portrayal of relationships (both familial and romantic) is perfect. If you love period dramas you’ll love this 🌟

As an added bonus, the screenplay was written by fellow Aussie @dianareid_. Brill brill brill!! Swipe to the end to see some of the places my article for AAP was syndicated 💘
