𝕭𝖔𝖓𝖊𝖙𝖎𝖉𝖊 by @authorhalle ⟡ 5 (infinity) ★ Holy hell, you guys. I really don’t know where to start with this book. Go in blind knowing this- Iris, our FMC, is left a cottage by her aunt after she passes under one stipulation, she must stay there for a year before she can gain ownership. The cottage is along a Scottish hillside with a loch, forest and an abundance of foliage both wild and intentionally grown, perfect for Iris and her career as a plant illustrator. But people in town talk of missing women and a killer on the loose, and Iris starts to wonder if the man near her land can be both someone she’s undeniably drawn to but should also run from. This book is a dark romance but it’s also got major elements of unease, horror, gore, grief and trauma, making bad decisions and damning the consequences, an all-consuming yearning and so much more I won’t say due to spoilers. The humor was amazing too and I loved Iris’ inner monologue. Definitely give Bonetide a read this spooky season if you enjoy the dark side of romance and the quietly haunting side of horror .✦ ݁˖ Also side note because I’m a nerd about this stuff but that first photo has no edits!! just low exposure and pretty lighting / shadows 🤓 Also also I had the best time buddy reading with @nae_reads_romance & @touchheranddiereads !! There are so many jaw-dropping moments in this book that you need a book bestie to scream with and I’m glad I had you two! 🖤 #bonetide #darkromance #monsterhorror #bookaesthetic #massmarketpaperback by @binding.brittany

was reading “devil daddy” over and over while taking this picture, so there’s that ❤︎ what’s everyone’s top book on their wishlist right now? I’m curious what everyone is excited to buy and read! I think right now my tops would be My Dreadful Darling by HD Cartlon (currently 50% in and already know I need a shelf trophy!), Love Hypothesis (I want to read it before I watch the movie!) by @alihazelwood , Doomsdate and Pot Shot by @laurapiperlee 💘 I’m clearly in the mood for some romcoms!! Happy Saturday! #bookaesthetic #currentlyreading #darkromance #darkromancereader #booksta by @binding.brittany
@storylinesbysav x @brittanykellerart 🌙✨ I’m absolutely in love with these satin pajamas from @storylinesbysav ! They’re the @brittanykellerart collection in “The Moon” and it couldn’t be more perfect as an absolute howl-at-the-moon, “look at the moon” girlie. I have The “Death” short-sleeve set on the way too! They’re so silky soft, perfect to cozy up with my current read and have some much needed me time in. I’m so grateful to have been accepted into the Storykeepers team for @storylinesbysav and am thrilled to share code BRITTREADS10 to save at checkout! My oldest daughter is already plotting her order. What’s your favorite item on the Storylines site?! I have too many to count but I love the Death collection, Booked & Busy set, and the Good Girl set. 💘 #storylinesbysav #storykeepers #bookmerch #bookaesthetic #brittanykellerart by @binding.brittany
Run. 🦊 It’s true- I’m only 30% into God of Wrath and afraid it may be my favorite yet. Listen!! God of Malice was incredible and definitely a favorite but I love that we know more about the characters (if you read in order), we’re more attuned to the initiation and I’m ready for my number! I also love seeing the story overlap from other POV and seeing the timelines meet from the other books. I adore Cecily and see myself in her in so many ways, especially when it comes to opening up and allowing yourself to find refuge in those close to you. I’m so excited to continue her journey and see her growth. And Jeremy? I have nothing appropriate to say. The vodka kiss? The app? Okay, I’ll run. I’ve been kicking my feet. #godofwrath #legacyofgods #rinakent #darkromancebooks #bookaesthetic by @binding.brittany
It’s time for initiation! Started God of Wrath today and I’m so excited. One thing I love about these books is the initiation. IYKYK. Are you risking initiation to make it in? Better run, little fox! @author_rina Kindle case is from @darkandunhinged 🖤 #bookaesthetic #godofwrath #legacyofgods #darkromance #darkromancebooks by @binding.brittany

God of Pain by @author_rina 💜 excuse me while pick my jaw up off the floor, little purple. I absolutely loved the second installment in the Legacy of Gods series, God of Pain. Creigh is such a complex character navigating extreme grief and trauma that’s unfathomable. He’s the real-life wake-up call mafia princess Annika needed and I loved being able to read their story. I can’t wait to continue on this series. I plan to start it alongside CC1. Definitely look at the cw for this series before picking up. Okay so now that I’ve read both God of Malice and God of Pain; choose your book boyfriend… Killian or Criegh? I’d have to say Killian because look… I couldn’t hang otherwise 🤭😂 #clubtarget #bookaesthetic #godofpain #legacyofgods #darkromancebooks by @binding.brittany
