"It's producing electric 24/7, as opposed to solar." ☀️🌙 Summerfield Farm on why their slurry digester keeps going day and night, summer and winter. by @biolectric

"In effect, our cows are powering the dairy." 🐄⚡ Askham Bryan College turns its slurry into gas, the gas into electricity, and the electricity powers the dairy. Circular, on the farm, 24/7. by @biolectric

September's Efficiency Leaderboard is in! 🏆

Our top 10 farm digesters ran 98.8% of the time on average and produced 231 MWh of electricity last month.

Congrats to Van Cauwenberghe (BE) on gold with 99.98% up-time, and to Van Kerckhoven (BE) and Wichmann (DE) on silver and bronze! And a big thank you to all our other farmers too: every one of your digesters keeps turning manure into power, day and night. 💚

From manure to non-stop power. 💩⚡

"It's knocked it down by 90% if you look on the paper."

Chris MacDonald manages Bays Leap Farm in Northumberland. For him the digester was affordable, and it was all about getting the electricity out of the AD plant. The result, on paper: electricity bills down 90%.
