Post Type: Review Via Invitation: No Name: Preston Food Villa Location: Ribbleton, Preston Halal: Y Vegan/Vegetarian: Y Parking: Y side street parking available Washroom: Y I hate the phrase 'hidden gem', but when I drove past here from the outside I thought it was just a standard takeaway, with a few seats near the counter. There was a full seating area which could accommodate 50 people with washroom facilities. The menu is huge! So many options but I was recommended to try out their meat platter and lamb nihari , I don't need to say much but yes I will be coming back!. by @bitetorate

Post Type: Promo Via Invitation: Yes Name: Cafe Maariyah Location: Manchester Road, Preston Halal: Y Vegan/Vegetarian: Y Parking: Paid Parking availabile opposite the restaurant. Washroom: N Their official grand opening is in a few weeks, but we were kindly invited to try some of the items on the menu and wow we loved this place. It reminded me of Sunday morning comfort food when we were younger. The menu includes unique breakfast options such as the highly praised burji egg alongside savory sides . They are well known for their traditional Karak chai and high-quality coffee, including different flavoured lattes and some delicious sweet treats. The prices are extremely reasonable, we tried out a mixture of items including the burji egg, loaded fries, Bombay sandwich. We also had the karak chai, coffee and the date milkshake and we could not fault it. The hospitality was second to none and will definitely be visiting again. Make sure you follow them and visit soon. **For specific dietary requirements please contact the business directly* #karakchai #coffee #preaton #breakfasts by @bitetorate
Post Type: Review Via Invitation: No Name: Amdavadi Location: Deepdale Mill Street, Preston Halal: Y Vegan/Vegetarian: Y Parking: No parking available Washroom: Y *Please note this is an honest and true representation of my visit to this place and I hope they take the feedback on board. This is not to discredit the business or anyone's livelihood, in fact it's the other way round where I want this business to succeed IA. Spam/Trolls and stupid messages will be deleted. Food 6/10 One teaspoon of red onions was crazy. The mixed grill was the best, excellent presentation. The curries were ok but lacked flavour. There was no naan bread available and no tap water (especially when you are waiting long time for the food) Service 2/10 Although I appreciate the place was busy for a Friday evening, it seemed chaotic from the moment I entered this place and was ignored. Expectations that the food would take around 10 to 15 minutes but took over 45 minutes. Now the excessive wait time wasn't the biggest issue, it was the fact there was no acknowledgement from the staff and tried repeatedly to get the staff's attention. The drinks order didn't come, and only came on the 3rd request when we had nearly finished our meals. Atmosphere/Parking 7/10 The place is very brightly lit and has a good amount of seats. Loved the colours on the menu. There is lack parking facilities available at this place. Overall, for our first impressions none of us from the 7 were impressed. This place is unique in it's concept and have been told it's only been a month since they opened., the lack of service let the place down. However, that's not to say I will not plan to visit in the future but this was a true reflection of our visit. I would encourage you to go visit. #indo #chinese #preston #deepdale by @bitetorate
Zilla Subs, Blackburn Zilla Subs is a fast-casual sandwich shop specialising in freshly made, premium halal sub sandwiches and loaded fries. Located at 55 Whalley New Road in Blackburn, the eatery operates under the slogan "Subs Done The Zilla Way" and focuses on fresh bread, high-quality meats, and heavy toppings. They make their own fresh bread and meats daily. Their standout menu item is the Philly Cheesesteak Sub, which comes heavily loaded with meat, melted cheese, and extra sauce. Food 9/10*** We tried the chicken tikka sub, Philly cheesesteak sub, cheesy sub and the mixed chicken and beef loaded fries. This came with jalapeno ranch sauce and Zilla sauce. The meat in all the subs was juicy and tender and you could tell this was all premium. The bread was nice, soft and fresh and the sauces gave it a good kick. The chicken tikka sub could have done with more chicken but the winner for us was the Philly cheesesteak followed by the loaded fries. Great value for money and food all the food had great flavours. Service 9/10*** It was great to talk to the owner and find out what their ambitions are and also understand the hard work and effort which has gone into the business. In particular, the sleepless nights trying to perfect the zilla sauce, this was evident because the sauce was amazing.. We were well looked after and provided wet wipes as the subs can be messy to eat. Atmosphere 8/10 The Decor as mentioned in the video is mint. We loved it. The colours fully make the place stand out. Some RNB or chilled dance tunes would perfectly compliment the place. Overall, this is definitely a place we would recommend if you're looking for something different than the usual burgers and pizzas and the place scores high in all areas. #sandwiches #sub #halal #blackburn #zilla by @bitetorate

Post Type: Promo Via Invitation: Yes Name: Burger Station Location: Frankie's Food Court, Preston Halal: Y Vegan/Vegetarian: N. Parking: Y One of the original vendors at Frankie's Food Court, I have watched this business evolve over the last few years. The entrepreneurial spirit from local lads is evident and this passion comes across in their food. I absolutely love it when there are just a few items on a menu in a street food element setting. Loved the vibes of the whole underground tune station feel and the bright yellow makes the container stand out from the crowd (the background music is London Underground). The food was delicious, in particular the metro melt, loved the play on names, but the Nashville tenders were succulent and delicious. Check out their Instagram page for opening times and options on the menu. **For specific dietary requirements please contact the business directly, this place is fully halal.* #smashburger #preston #burger #foodcourt #nashville by @bitetorate
Tipsy Chef, Lancaster Road, Preston **DISCLAIMER: For transparency this place sells halal chicken but consider this place serves alcohol (clues in the name) & cannot guarantee contamination with non halal meat** Loved the Preston vibes, especially the alreet cha. The art work is amazing.. Food was great, my favourite was the fat panda loaded fries as the aioli and the chilli jam gave it a burst of flavours. The baon buns were soft and went really well with the contrast on the crunchy Nashville chicken. Definitely hit them up if you're looking for something unique.. **For specific dietary requirements please contact the business directly* #preston #bao #streetfood #foodie #american by @bitetorate

Coffeboy, Preston This place is a tardis! There were so many more items on the menu than I expected, protein shakes, smoothies, breakfast bowls, pizzas, a variety of different drinks, loads of cakes and sandwiches. Love the rustic feel of the place, it was very calming but what shocked me is that they have an upstairs too, which you can hire out for events and this was huge. Plenty of plug sockets, free WiFi means you can take your laptop if you're bored of working from home. During my visit there were students, shoppers, personal trainers and people of all ages, this had more than just a coffee shop feel. Thank you to the staff for looking after me and I will definitely be seeing you again soon.. Higjy recommended. #coffeshop #preston #proteinshakes #acai by @bitetorate
Post Type: Promo Via Invitation: Yes Name: Cafe Raha Location: Blackburn Halal: Y Vegan/Vegetarian: Y Parking: Y The vibe here is so relaxed and peaceful, l and it feels like you've stepped abroad. With the sun shining the whole experience was made when better. A beautiful setting, the curved archways, neutral tones made it feel like an oasis of calm. The food was absolutely amazing, really well presented and full of various seasonings. And the desserts were incredible. The hospitality was spot on and it was evident the staff worked extremely hard. Higky recommend this place. **For specific dietary requirements please contact the business directly* #blackburn #middleastern #brunch #desserts by @bitetorate
