#gosox ❤️⚾️ How to Execute the “3-6-1” Double Play Applying the Defensive “3-B’s” of Priority Fundamental Baseball 👊BALL | BAG | BACKUP 💪⚾️

The pitcher’s (LOVE ❤️Hagen Smith) primary responsibility is 1b with a direct sprint to that BAG & MUST have his Eyes Locked in on that BAG Target!!! Find It First & then Find the BALL to complete the “Tough One” Double Play!

As a pitcher, Never Look👀 to See what the Middle Infielders are Doing During that particular Play!!! It will Only Slow You Down & Make It Very Difficult to Find 1b with Your Feet👟👍

Remember; The Hitter is Running Hard Down the Line Trying To Beat The Pitcher to the BAG! A Direct Sprint Line is a Pitcher’s Best Chance To Complete This Double Play✅💪⚾️🔥

3-B’s are a Staple of @7jackleggett HOF Storied Career & Can Be Applied Anywhere to Any Defensive Play on the Diamond 💪🏆⚾️🇺🇸

I Know Jim Koller, My Recently Passed Legendary HS ⚾️Coach is Proudly & Passionately Watching his Beloved White Sox Playoff Run in Baseball Heaven🙏⚾️❤️🏆

Jim was a GREAT Man, Longtime Palatine HS Teacher/Coach & Dear Friend ❤️🫡 Valued Relationships were his Coaching Standard!!! And he LOVED the game of Baseball!!!

His attention to ⚾️Detail, Especially on the Team Defensive side of the game was innovative, cutting edge & always curious to learn creative new ways to do it better!!! Referred to Coach’s 1st & 3rds, Cuts & Relays & Bunt Defenses throughout my playing/coaching career often!

JK was one of the first people outside of my Dad to Believe in me & the Tough Way we Love It too! Having to Earn & Work for everything within his program👍👍

Coach would let me keep a Batting Tee in his office so I could get some Swings In between classes & also a reason to stop by to talk about the game we Love & so many Life Lessons💪🫡❤️⚾️

Jim’s “SmartAss” sense of humor was famous among Illinois HS Baseball Coaches! The “Smirk” & “Roll of his Eyes” after a “Wisecrack Dry One Liner” could make you laugh until your it hurt😂😂

I LOVE Jim Koller, Husband, Father, Coach, Teacher & Beautiful Human that will be Forever Remembered and Dearly Missed ❤️🙏🫵🫡

THANK YOU So Much Coach!!!!!!!!!🫵❤️
