'07 Real Skateboards x Kaws deck (1 of 2)

I had to push through the fatigue and do a post on this before it leaves me...

One of the most beautiful, rare and valuable decks going. This is from a relatively early collab with Real skateboards in 2007, and was a part of the Real Skateboards Remix project, where they collaborated with various artists including Pushead, Shepard Fairey, Natas Krupas and Mark Gonzalez.

Each design was limited to 500 pieces and also came with a dvd copy of real remix, a stencil and stickers. No surprise that the Kaws pair is the most coveted, the "fake" deck (slide 6) seems to be harder to come by, but this one is nicer imo!

It might be my favourite kaws deck period alongside the Zoo York decks. This deck will run you anywhere from $1-3k these days, but this one was acquired for much less. (I'll let you guess how much, just know it was almost too good to be true, but I do consider myself a master bargain hunter haha!).

This is on its way to @1swak1 and I couldn't think of a better home for it (although it would have looked mighty fine in my collection haha).

I hope you enjoy it mate! Just gotta find the other one now to complete the set!

'24 Nike ID Air Max 97 "Not Wotherspoons"

What started out as an exercise to create some wotherspoon-esque 97s quickly turned into a wildly different colourway - passion fruit perhaps?

Bape Roadsta FS-034 Low 870 'Navy Purple'

One of the earlier roadsta releases, I think it released around '06. Soles still intact!

Bapesta FS-001 Low 454 'Red'

Or as I like to call them, 'the reverse NERDs'. (Although the 641s are probably closer haha)

These were released in '05 I believe and were purchased from the NY store back in the day. They even came with a very faded receipt. One of my favourite combinations of colours.

'05 - '07 Bape Boa lined Denim jacket - adorned with '10 Bape Mods Collection patch

I rarely buy customised or modified items of clothing, but I had to have this denim jacket as soon as I saw the Union Jack apehead patch with the Who's inspired font. This must have been a cherished jacket for the previous owner. The only thing I don't like is that it's an iron on patch, as opposed to being sewn on.

This is a small, but is surprisingly large! I opt for large/XL usually with Bape, but this fits me well.

Bapesta FS-001 Low 489 'Navy Pink'

I am partial to a bit of pink. This is a crazy colourway which I believe released in '05.

Mr West was famously photographed whilst visiting the NY Bape store in '05 and tried on literally every pair of bapestas they had (including these ones), only to leave with nothing.... Classic Kanye move haha.

Again, apologies for my camera. The vivid colours are not represented well!

'05 Bape Bearbrick 1st Camo Grey - 400% by Medicom

Another one from what I believe is the second set of Bape 400% bearbricks that were made by Medicom. Other colours include pink, red, purple and green.

"Flowing in the right direction" - Peter Schmidt, Hors d' commerce print

Lithograph on high quality paper with Wolfgang Ketter blindstamp.

Peter Schmidt is perhaps most famous for his work with Brian Eno (Oblique Strategies), he is a great abstract artist with a large body of work, and is represented with a copy of this very print in the Tate. This is possibly my favourite artwork that I own at the moment.

OG Trilogy Tapes tee on Gildan tags by Will Bankhead

I don't know much about this tee, but it must be from an early run, since it's on a Gildan tag. (And fairly wonky screenprinting haha).

Will designed for Mo Wax and Palace before starting up @thetrilogytapes , evolving from a blog to a store and record label.

Nature is king.

New Nike 4/20 drop? This has got me thinking about how comfy moss insoles would be. 🤔
