๐ŸฅŠ Proud coach moment! We had 7 kids away at an Interclub at the @griphouse , and I couldnโ€™t be prouder of every single one of them. They all did outstanding , showed great effort and determination, and represented the gym brilliantly. Well done to all 7 of you. Keep working hard, keep learning and keep enjoying the journey! ๐Ÿ‘ by @blackboxmuaythai
A fight is chaos. Some more chaotic than others, but in very few will you have time to think or plan "what am I gonna do now...". We train the repetitions we do and the hours we do to ingrain the situational response so that when the moment arises, we don't think... We go. How many times have you drilled a check hook counter against someone closing distance at speed? How many times have to drilled what to do if someone is keeping you at distance with kicking? If these situations are causing you to feel "stuck" in a fight, then the answer is "not enough". Drill and practice until every situation draws an automatic response, until your mind is empty and your body takes over with built in attacks, defences and counters. Because when the hours and weeks and months have been executed in the gym, you'll have one choice in that ring... Spend time thinking, or spend time fighting. by @blackboxmuaythai
๐ŸฅŠ Anarchy Show! ๐ŸฅŠ A massive well done to our three junior Muay Thai fighters, Hollie, Aiva and Adam, who all did absolutely amazing in their demo today! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”ฅ A big thank you to Anarchy for having us back again, and to the team back at the gym for all the hard work and support that makes these opportunities possible for our kids. โค๏ธ Proud of you all! ๐Ÿ’ช Thank you @a1gym2021 ๐Ÿ™ by @blackboxmuaythai
๐ŸฅŠ FIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT โ€“ ABERDEEN COMBAT SHOW 4 ๐ŸฅŠ ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ PRO-AM MUAY THAI โ€“ 77KG ๐Ÿ”ฅ SCOTT GRINDLAY vs DEAN HEPBURN ๐Ÿ”ฅ A change to the card, but this one is still very much ON! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ”ฅ Unfortunately, Bartek has sustained an injury and has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout against Dean Hepburn. Weโ€™d like to wish Bartek a speedy recovery and hopefully weโ€™ll see him back competing again soon. ๐Ÿ™ Stepping in to keep the fight alive is Scott Grindlay of Glasgow Fitness, who has accepted the challenge and will now travel north to face Blackboxโ€™s Dean Hepburn in a 77kg Pro-Am Muay Thai clash. Massive respect to Scott for stepping up and taking the fight. ๐Ÿค Dean has been preparing for October 3rd and now has a completely new opponent and a completely different challenge in front of him. Two experienced lads. Pro-Am rules. 77kg. This could be an absolute war. ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ ๐Ÿ“… Saturday 3rd October 2026 ๐Ÿ“ Torry Lighthouse Centre, Oscar Road ๐Ÿšช Doors 2PM | First Fight 3PM ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ ABERDEEN COMBAT SHOW 4 The card changes. Rounds banked and experience gained in today's ISKA open. Congratulations to all competing athletes today, stepping through those ropes for the first time for many is something to be admired just as much as the skill on show from the more experienced athletes. Lessons learned and techniques proven, we move forward and focus on what's next for us as a team. Unfortunate not to get other promising juniors out due to lack of available opponents, but we'll get there with getting everyone out and their opportunity to test themselves and their skills. Great work from @blackbox_glasgow today on picking up the category win. Thankful for the support from both teammates and parents and fantastic work from @zsolt_blackbox @krisblackboxmuaythai @primitivevolve in the corners to prep and guide the guys through the process. Next up... Hungryside Supershow. LET'S GO! FLF by @blackboxmuaythai
๐ŸฅŠ FIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT โ€“ ABERDEEN COMBAT SHOW 4 ๐ŸฅŠ ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ PRO-AM MUAY THAI โ€“ 77KG ๐Ÿ”ฅ BARTEK KRAWCZYK vs DEAN HEPBURN ๐Ÿ”ฅ Two experienced fighters. Two ACS debuts. One serious scrap at 77kg. ๐Ÿ‘Š Bartek Krawczyk of Omega makes the trip to Aberdeen for his first appearance on the Aberdeen Combat Show, bringing plenty of experience with him and looking to make an immediate impression under the ACS lights. Standing across from him will be Dean Hepburn of Blackbox, another experienced competitor making his ACS debut. Dean knows exactly what it takes to compete at this level and will be coming north with absolutely no intention of simply making up the numbers. With both men having plenty of rounds behind them, this is exactly the type of experienced, competitive match-up we want to bring to Aberdeen Combat Show 4. And trust usโ€ฆ weโ€™re nowhere near finished yet. ๐Ÿ‘€ There are still some BIG fights waiting to be announced, and if youโ€™ve been paying close attention to whatโ€™s been going on around the Scottish MMA scene latelyโ€ฆ you might already have an idea that something special is cooking. ๐Ÿ‘ณโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘€ Keep your eyes peeled. ๐ŸฅŠ FIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT โ€“ ABERDEEN COMBAT SHOW 4 ๐ŸฅŠ ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ C-CLASS MUAY THAI โ€“ 67KG ๐Ÿ”ฅ MAHAD KAMRAN vs RYAN WHITE ๐Ÿ”ฅ Two familiar faces return for their second appearances on the Aberdeen Combat Showโ€”but this time, theyโ€™ll be standing across from one another. ๐Ÿ‘€ Representing Aberdeen Combat Centre, Mahad Kamran returns to compete in front of the home crowd. Since his first appearance, Mahad has been back in the gym, working hard and continuing to develop his skills alongside the talented team at ACC. Mahad came up just short on his first ACS appearance with a split decision loss, and this time heโ€™ll be determined to put that right and get his first win on the show. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Standing across from him will be Ryan White of Blackbox, who also returns for his second outing on the show. Ryan already knows what it feels like to compete under the ACS lights and will be making the journey north determined to spoil the party for the home fighter. Ryan, on the other hand, came away victorious on his first ACS appearance and will be looking to make it two wins from two when he returns to Aberdeen. ๐Ÿ‘Š Both men have experienced the Aberdeen Combat Show atmosphere before. Both know what to expect and both will be coming back determined to leave with the victory. Two returning fighters. One evenly matched 67kg Muay Thai battle. This one promises action from the opening bell. ๐Ÿ”ฅ by @blackboxmuaythai
